Yanks wore a patch last night?

In an MLB-wide effort to draw attention to Hurricane Katrina relief, the Yankees and Devil Rays wore a Red Cross symbol on their helmets. The Yankees also had a Salvation Army patch on their right sleeves.

Ha ha ha ha! :)

Good joke. But it'd very good that every MLB team must use that patch until the end of this year (including playoffs and WS).

Add the NBA, NFL and NHL teams that are going to start their playing seasons.

One word, Retarded. Yeah, I'm all for support for the relief, but there are two things wrong with this. one, the Batting helmet thing is totaly out of wack, it needs to be moved somewhere else. Second, the Red Cross is a worthless organization that is only in it for the money. Give to charities that give the money to the cause, not to the workers.
