benJAMMIN039
Well this is my first attempt at making a uniform, making a logo, making a word mark, vectorizing anything.: Some C + C please, any tips on how to improve my illustrator skills(if you can call them that)? rmered
Well it's not a bad first effort.I take it you drew the wave then traced it.That looks OK.The uniforms puzzle me a bit.Waves down the shirt, then straight lines down the shorts.I know they're Nike template shorts, which means the work is mostly done, but why did you choose those ones?Have a look in the Design board in the Illustrator Help thread, you'll find a goldmine of little tips and suggestions. Oh, and I've got a site.Footy Jumpers Dot Com

PhilaLogos
I like the logo and the color choice, very good for a first effort. But the thing that bothers me about the jersey is the aggressive font and the wavy side panels which are everything but aggressive, and like rmered said, the jersey striping is inconsistant with the shorts striping. My suggestion: change the side panel striping to something more common, make the numbers bigger (and further away from the text), and give the text and numbers an outline. Overall not bad. Chief.
The only thing I don't like is the side panel, but very nice work on the logo.
