teams that could be looking: Cowboys (if Dak walks away), Giants, Jets, Raiders, Seahawks, Rams, Steelers, Titans, Browns and Saints

I think Cleveland would be better off grabbing Justin Fields if they are moving away from Watson. Pittsburgh apparently only want him and Russ for this season. We're already dealing with one diva at quarterback this season, we don't need one who's father is the diva.

I love not being a fan of a team with the worst owner in the league. Tepper doesn’t seem to be Snyder level bad, but he’s certainly still scum.

Josh Harris won't win any "best owner" contests any time soon.  Just wait.

So in a few years, he's going to say that they are going "All In" and not do anything to live up to that?

How scummy is he though? He seems to present himself as a cornball at most.

Not scummy in the same way that Snyder was, just scummy in the way he views teams as nothing but financial assets and means to ends, doesn't give a damn about the communities in which he operates in (despite making statements in all of them that paint himself as a hometown boy), and while he's mostly hands off as far as personnel goes (which is a good thing), he makes very questionable choices on who to give the keys to.  He's pretty much hated here, and that was even before the arena thing.

You forgot Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Mitchell was playing against two NFL receivers and another who will be. Also, the QB throwing to them that day was some kid named C.J. Stroud.

I forgot just how stacked that offense was. Three receivers that would have been the number one receiver at any other school, and possibly the best QB they've ever had.

I'm hearing now that he had an opportunity to transfer to Alabama and make a lot in NIL money, but chose to stay loyal to Toledo and the coaches that gave him his opportunity.

On one hand, that's very noble.  Gotta respect loyalty.  But on the other hand, is there a little element of fear there?  Loyalty be damned, if you have the opportunity to make a lot of money - and that opportunity could vanish at any time with a single injury - you take it, unless you're either from a wealthy family or maybe you're a little scared of jumping into the bigger pond.

Or I'm over thinking it, and he's just a good kid and there's nothing more to it.

I think you're overthinking it. He remained loyal and still got drafted in the first round. If anything, it's a good sign for when it's time to negotiate contracts. A guy whose loyalty to his team and coaches took priority over getting paid? That's incredibly rare these days. I wish the rest of Toledo's star players were as loyal as him. They've been hit hard by the transfer portal.

I'm not even sure that it's possible, but he is really on the fast track to becoming a worse owner than Dan Snyder. My condolences to Carolina fans.

I’m so thrilled that my team shares a division with these guys.

So do you guys agree with what Mike Florio says about defensive head coaches in that if the OC that they hire becomes a head coach, that team is most likely to hire a new OC who may have a new system that stunts a young QB's growth?

No, but that's mostly because I think Mike Florio is an idiot.

I don't think owners are well-liked by fans anyway. Harris may not end up being great, but with two decades of Snyder, I would think Washingtonians can accept it as a plus and live with it. 🤷‍♂️

Have there been any instances where the same owner drafted the father and the son, like the Eagles just did with Jeremiah Trotter and Jeremiah Trotter Jr.?  Hearing them talking on the phone, when they've known each other since the player was born, was pretty cool.

Also, Dallas sucks.

Some notable undrafted free agent QBs include Kedon Slovis (Colts), Sam Hartman (Commanders), Emory Jones (Ravens) and John Rhys Plumlee (Steelers although he's coming into the NFL as a Wide Receiver, which he apparently played a bit of at UCF).

So Washington takes Daniels at #2 to be their new franchise QB, but they also sign Hartman as an undrafted FA. Obviously not the same as drafting a second QB in the 3rd round, but this is feeling a little too much like 2012. I honestly don't even understand how Hartman went undrafted, and I don't understand how the NFL grades quarterbacks anymore. Ten to fifteen years ago, I feel like he's exactly the style of QB teams looked for, and he would have been a 3rd or 4th rounder. But the position has changed so much that now teams are trading up to #10 to draft J.J. F🤬ing McCarthy, on the off chance he has even a fraction of Mahomes' talent (He doesn't).
