My Brand New Attempt At A Panthers Alternate Hockey Jersey.

Why are there

... two shades of yellow?

... no shades of blue?

... numbers in the armpits?

... elbow patches that look like a sports jacket?

... spikes on the socks?

... spikes on the shorts?

... numbers above the logo?

Too many oddities.

i dont think you used any proper shade of any color.....picture the sweater with the players arms down by his side..the armpit numbers would be hidden..keep trying....thats the ffun part...never stop posting stuff because of any bad C&C...

Those pants would never fly in the NHL, or anywhere else, for that matter...too much going on. Plus, the socks are doing he same thing. Stick to simple stripes on socks and pants....and in most cases, the jerseys as well. The number placement(chest/back of the arms) isn't really striking me as being irritating rather than innovative. If you make it a bit more traditional(number placement, no spikes) and add some blue, you might be in business. I'd make the helmet solid as well.

definatly better than the old one, it looks a little cluttered though, with the shoulder patch, sleeve striping, Captain C and the number on the shoulder. and my monitors colors are messed up so I wont comment to much on the color scheme, but it just doesnt look too plesent on my monitor.

Again, the socks are the biggest fault. Hockey socks shouldn't have vertical stripes. If you're trying to make it old style, make it old style. If that's what you're going for, there shouldn't be anything "revolutionary" done to it. To be honest, what they currently have is more old style than what you've done.

You can't really put numbers where the captain's C is suppose to go, and then put a tiny C on the shoulder. I mean you DID, but you can't.

You labeled this an attempt at an "old school" concept. But there's almost nothing traditional about this.

The revision is a step in the right direction, but there's a lot that just needs to be changed.

SWEATER:

- red in the body of the sweater and NOWHERE on the sleeves or shoulders;

- three different colors for three parts of the sweater;

- number on the front is a no-no, ESPECIALLY off-centered on the left chest;

- the captain's "C" chouldn't be given second billing on the jersey - it is a huge honor to have on your sweater;

- shoulder patch is predominantly gold, on gold shoulders that are a noticeably different shade;

- nothing to offset the transition from one area of color to another;

- still too busy... busy = unprofessional.

HELMET:

- gold...

PANTS:

- again: busy = unprofessional = NOT "old school".

- three colors?

- awkward geometric blotches here, there and everywhere

SOCKS:

- see "PANTS"

Remember, C&C is only here to help you. We're all enamored with our own projects, and we're often blind to their shortcomings. You don't have to use any or all of the suggestions, but there are a lot of talented people who can help your skills improve greatly in very little time. Take it for what it is, and keep at it.
