Actually afraid the NHL will milk it for all its worth being in Vancouver. Instead of fans having to be introduced to some small, far away town, here's an NHL city with NHL players flocking to it.Also, why does Montreal have to have it in '09? HedleyLamarr Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 Atlanta was guarenteed the 2008 All-Star Game if the 2005 game/season was cancelled. It would be fair to award the 2009 Game to Phoenix since they were in-line with a scheduled date. But if the NHL decides to go with tradition and give Montreal the 2009 game, then Phoenix should get the game in 2011.
