Shouln't Atlanta and Phoenix getit next? They were originally awarded the 2005 and 2006 All Star games).

In 1995 the lockout wiped out the All Star game so San Jose got the next possible one. (in 1997)

They will get it eventually, but not quite yet. Maybee two or three years down the road.

Atlanta and Phoenix got screwed over, is it their fault the league cancelled the season for one (ATL) and decided to play in the Olympics (PHX). One of these cities better have it in 2008, give it to Montreal in 2009, and the other city in 2010

Well 2010 they can do it since the Olympic Break could be smaller with the Olympics being in Vancouver.

Actually afraid the NHL will milk it for all its worth being in Vancouver. Instead of fans having to be introduced to some small, far away town, here's an NHL city with NHL players flocking to it.

Also, why does Montreal have to have it in '09? Clearly I'm blocking something.

Atlanta was guarenteed the 2008 All-Star Game if the 2005 game/season was cancelled. It would be fair to award the 2009 Game to Phoenix since they were in-line with a scheduled date. But if the NHL decides to go with tradition and give Montreal the 2009 game, then Phoenix should get the game in 2011. Remember, with the CBA, there are no All-Star Games in seasons where the Winter Olympics are held.

I bet they will wear dallas stars unis except all instead of dallas

I think it would be pretty slick if they wear North Stars themed jerseys, with the green, yellow and white (forget the black!). Imagine the East in Yellow and the West in Green...now THAT would be sick.
