You would be suprized not only the skill and dedication it takes, but also the $$$. If I had to place it, id put snowboarding very high on the difficulty level, above even physical sports like football. Its unbelieveable the work it takes to be even a decent snowboarder. I like how people say I hate to be an american when i see someone from our country does something that.... but you didn't do it so no need to say that. She did it thats all its her fault and she knows it. Its not like the rest of the world now hates the USA just because of that...theres a hell of alot more reason why beside this small thing that happened. all i have to say is... Who Cares? You would be suprized not only the skill and dedication it takes, but also the $$$. If I had to place it, id put snowboarding very high on the difficulty level, above even physical sports like football. Its unbelieveable the work it takes to be even a decent snowboarder. Do you snowboard, bucfan? I'd say that snowboarding in general (not half-pipe) is one of the easiest sports to learn. Much easier than skiing. There's a tough couple of days trying to get the hang of it, but once you get it, it's like riding a bicycle.And lmu, no, not all snowboarders are egotistical punks. Ill agree with you, initally its fairly easy, but to get realy good at it, like so you can compete, it takes an enormous amount of work, time, dedication, and cash.And i dunno about it being easier than skiing. Saying "there are exceptions to the rule" still implies that the vast majority fit within your generalization . . . therefore, you have still made an unfair generalization.Who cares? we all showboat in sports especially when u score goals or score a touchdown, The difference is that most of us do it after we score. That way, you can't blow your chance by doing it.
