andrewharrington
Just because a football is roughly the same shape as the Pope's headwear doesn't mean it has a church feel. That seems to be a common error by many. They should have used the 60 seasons last year and had another logo for the 60th anniversary this year. But two logos back to back may have been a little overkill. Worship at the church of the Niners!

I don't think either team has anything to worry about. I'm pretty sure that if the 49ers played themselves, they'd lose. If the Niners played themselves the teams would combine for a record number of defensive TDs in a game. (either that or punts from all the 3-and-outs)That said, I do like the logo. Now I just wish the Niners would field a team worthy of the history behind those 60 seasons.

STL FANATIC
Rams take the NFC West next year. Cards nab the wild card. If the Seahawks are lucky, they might get the other wild card. nwtrailtrekker
poeple are crazy. anyone who doesnt take the hawks in the division this year is a total complete nutcase. im sorry but if you cant expect the superbowl rep to even win the division, after having a fairly good offseaon, then you got something wrong with you. Look, I'm a Seattle Seahawks fan. That said, you do realize that a team making it to the Super Bowl in one season doesn't necessarily guarantee that said team will return to the Super Bowl the following year, right? In fact, over the past five NFL seasons, the team that lost the Super Bowl failed to win its division or qualify for the playoffs the following year.
