BRYWHIT
Anyone ever wonder wny the panthers have the NFL shield at center field? I understand the meadowlands using it since the giants and jets share the stadium, but why no flying panther logo in charlotte?

OB33
More or less, from what I heard its the Panthers way of saying thank you to the NFL for granting Charlotte a franchise. #CHOMPCHOMPCHOMP
pagan696
yes, owner Jerry Richardson is of the belief of the thinking "no team is greater than the league". he owns the team and wants the shield at midfield. it's always been that way. Chazberg
Looks good to me, I think the shield is always a perfectly acceptable midfield logo. I also like the way more teams are using the smaller NFL shields at I believe the 25 or 30, though I dunno why my Bears haven't added them. charles-noerenberg.com
jtthasportfreak
For years at Mile High Stadium, the Broncos had the NFL shield at the 50. And on TV, it showed up better than a highly detailed Bronco "D."

Panthers and Giants Stadium have it at midfield. Personally i like them at the 25.

I've been to every home game except Miami and Detroit and have taken pics of the field, and they're absent in all of em. They do have the shield in one end zone though, so I guess that counts for theirs. I think it's a cool idea to require the NFL shield somewhere on every field. charles-noerenberg.com
FiddySicks
Itd be kinda cool if each team had the shield at center field in their team colors like on some of the NFL hats. Besides, blue and orange would just look like they got the colors slightly wrong.
