Lee.
Hope so, or it could be just like the "catalyst" that "turned around" Winnipeg's downtown.10,000 people a night go to downtown Winnipeg to see a Moose game, stay inside the MTS Centre, then promptly get in their cars to go home to the 'burbs.Fingers crossed for you guys. leopard88
My experience with downtown Newark is limited to the area around the train station, NJPAC, the Seton Hall Law School and the old Enterprise Rent-A-Car near the law school (and the roads to the highways to get to Roseland and/or Bedminster). Where is the arena relative to all of that? jkrdevil
My experience with downtown Newark is limited to the area around the train station, NJPAC, the Seton Hall Law School and the old Enterprise Rent-A-Car near the law school (and the roads to the highways to get to Roseland and/or Bedminster). Where is the arena relative to all of that? It's right in that area, across from Penn Station. Apparently the suite sells have been very strong for the new arena so that looks good. As Dilbert said the naming rights are close to being finalized. It will be called the Prudential Center (no real surprise there). Tank, the pics look good. Nice to see a different perspective of the construction other than the webcam the Devils have on their site.
boricuahitman
The Stadium will be right off of Market Street. About a two and a half block walk from the PATH station at Penn Station. That area is not the worst part of downtown, trust me i used to work in the worst part of downtown. I look forward to doing what i normally do in downtown newark (lol illeagality) infront of that stadium as i wear my rangers jersey proud BITCHES! NJTank
Well its about 5 blocks from where I work at the courthouse close to Rutgers-Newark and Essex County College and the Courts of course. Newark City Hall is like one block away, and Penn Station is very close by too. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
