rmackman
Is there a more annoying person on the boards when their team wins? Seriously, I was almost cheering for Ohio State for this very reason.Exactly what I was thinking. This is coming from two children! What's the matter we don't have a right to be a fan of our teams? My god, some of the people on this board are such a bunch of whining idiots when another team is successful...and those people are usually born after 1985. "OH NO WE HATE WHEN HE MAKES A POST THAT CHEERS FOR FLORIDA!" Jealous idiots. When it comes to you specifically, I agree with them. You are probably the person on the boards who posts threads the most about even the more insignificant facets of your favorite teams.--Roger "Time?" Clemente.Yeah I post stuff when my favorite teams do well, but so does everyone else. I see posts all of the time where people say go this team or go that team. That's why its a sports board. I would expect as much from anyone. We're all fans or we wouldn't be here. The Year of the Gators is the 365 days spanning from Florida's first basketball championship until the following March. That would be a one year period. Sort of like you call the NBA the 2006-2007 Season. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports

Fred T. Jane
My Region/Team > Your Region/TeamFYI: LSSU is knocking at the door of a Top 20 ranking.Go Lakers! [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. Besides, not only did the Colts just beat a team with four Gators, the team with the most Gators, Jacksonville, failed to make the postseason. rams80
In the interest of full disclosure...The Rams had more guys from Harvard (2) on their roster this year than they had Florida Gators (1). I guess that's the reason they went .500 this year. On 8/1/2010 at 4:01 PM, winters in buffalo said: You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. rainmaker17
Mack. Congrats for all of recent Florida acheivements. Honestly. However I think you fail to see the big picture.Being a fan of your team is one thing. Crowing about it in capital letters, and implying anything that even grazes against Florida is a guaranteed lock is foolish. There is a fine line between confidence and cockiness. You crossed that line a while ago.

Roger Clemente
The Florida Gators won both football and basketball, the World Series MVP was former Gator David Eckstein, the NBA Champion Miami Heat had former Gators Udonis Haslem and Jason Williams, former Gator Emmitt Smith won dancing of the stars, and the Bears have 4 ex-Gators to the Colts none! Therefore Chicago wins and Chris DiMarco wins the jacket in Augusta!WINNER!!! Follow me on Twitter if you care: @Animal_Clans.My opinion may or may not be the same as yours. The choice is up to you.
