Now that the NFL is over, it's time to move on to other sports, college Basketball, and MLB. Cause no cares that much about the NBA, and the NHL well since there is no team in Kansas then Who Cares.

At lease we was there, where was St. Louis, Dallas, Philly, Kansas City, Green Bay, Tenn, Seahawks, Denver, Indy, and the Ravenspantherplayoff.jpg

Hell I'm paying the same amount attention to hockey and basketball as I was when the NFL season was going on. NFL ending only means the Simpsons are on at their regular time every Sunday night for me.

I don't watch the Simpsons, but yeah, the NFL being over doesn't affect my other sports...

Since teh NBA nad NHL does not play every night atleast not every team following day by day is not like MLB durring the summer.

Eitehr way watching the NHL is good, and better then the NBA, but Im looking forward to March Madness.

When the NFL season starts I'm already paying more attention to the CFL, and then the NHL--so basically I can devote more attention to the NHL and other sports.  While I follow it to a degree, and can appreciate it, the end of the season doesn't leave a hole the same way the end of the CFL & NHL seasons do.  However I can relate to those who miss it the most.

Well no matter how you paint it February is a waste land of boredom, worst month of the year.

What a good title for the NHL all star game!!!

(Hey I like the NHL, and follow it--but the All Star game is a joke)

I have followed the NHL all season (of course when the 49ers were at home it was kinda tough to watch the Sharks), now I can watch hockey 90% with the Sharks trying to do the unthinkable...go from first to worst, back to first!

I also gotta give 10% now to the AFL.  SaberCats games absolutely rock!  With many former SF Demons there (including James Hundon, who still remembers me unbelievably) some fans even have recreated the old Hell Hole from the Demon days at Pac Bell Park.

Amen, brother!

time to get more into ACC hoops, check a little into NASCAR's start of the new season and new point system, might try to stomach some NBA (i said might), and find out what the NHL's been up to this year.

i also need to get out to our local ECHL Charlotte Checkers games since i've been slack and not made it there yet this year.

I am all about march madness, and hoping my Thrashers can pull off a crazy good streak to make the playoffs in the NHL.

What is this NiBiA you talk of? Do we have another professional sport? I don't think I remember anything else.

My Cable operator up here in PA doesn't have the Devils, but they do have the Rangers (who they black out due to the Flyers).. and they have the aformentioned Flyers, so my hockey life up here is a living hell. In recent Years the AFL has taken the sting away from the end of the football season for me. The AFL is the methadone to the NFL's crack-cocaine.

The NBA? Pfft, call me when the Finals start, then i might watch a quarter or two.

MARCH MADNESS!!! WOOOO The next big event, i can't wait...

Baseball.... it get's old after May, From the end of the Cup Finals until the beginning of the NFL Season, it is a sports wasteland... so boring the summer is....

And did someone say NASCAR? Only real sports are discussed here man. No hobbies...

I choose not to engage in the NASCAR being a sport debate.  In my opinion it is; in others it isn't, and that's fine.  It's like trying to debate what is and is not art, pornography, etc.  It's all subjective depending on what criteria you choose to use and frankly there are no official criteria.  In any event, since its results are published in the sports pages and broadcast on ESPN, I will lump it in with the list of sports I am looking forward to this NFL post season.

Also on my spring sports following calendar are Arena Football, March Madness (even though it looks like my Mizzou Tigers won't be involved), baseball (the debut of my Continental League team!) and I'll be following spring ball for NCAA football.  There's also the Stanley Cup playoffs to look forward to, although I'm concerned that this will be first April in 26 years that my Blues might be on the outside looking in.  NBA?  I'll pass, thank you.  And I'll let out a deep sigh of sadness and resignation to mark the 19th consecutive spring without the USFL.

Yeah, I don't think following one sport takes away from following other sports. Of course, you'll pay the most attention to whatever is in season, but I don't think that attention is dilluted during an overlap. You just spend more time overall following sports.

Throughout the fall & early winter, I follow the NFL and NHL. Now that the NFL is done, I'll do something else with that time, and still follow the NHL as much as I have been.

This why we need the NFL Network to be carried by all oppertators for our NFL Fix until September.

Tank, did you send your cable operator the form letter from the www.NFLNetwork.com page?

i did, i hope it gets through to someone important.

From October through June, just give me hockey and I'll be fine.  Nothing else matters as much. Although I do like to watch the NFL, the odd MLB game, most of the MLB playoffs and the NBA Finals, but other than those, that's it.
