Krona
I was reading an article on the MLS rumors site the other day and this name was suggested. I took the inspiration and worked up a badge, but something isnt clicking. Any suggestions? Tweaks? Colors? Scrap the whole thing?
mcrosby
I like this a lot, and as for making it click, I could see the badge being in a flame-ish shape, that might look alright, good job so far https://twitter.com/OutOfThisWC
Drew22
Dude this is great. Maybe the team name on their somewhere? Gives me and idea for a fantasy soccer team name. Eagles/Heels/Dawgs/Falcons/Hawks
udubs03
I really like everything you've got here. Great colors, simple yet effective composition. My only complaint is the insufferable pseudo-Euro name 'Atlanta Olympic FC'
bohob
This looks like a great secondary logo, although I personally think the name is weak. Try something more intricate for the primary crest. WideRight
Add a green laurel wreath outside the orange O. The contrast of green & orange would be perfect for the team, it symbolizes olympic glory and it brings a hint of the "peach" element to the orange O
Epiphanic
My only complaint is the insufferable pseudo-Euro name 'Atlanta Olympic FC'Agreed. Atlanta Olympians would be much better in my opinion. As far as the logo is concerned, I think it's solid. Perhaps you could incorporate the flame into the 'A' alittle more. Perhaps, a la Atlanta Flames. Just a suggestion. "In the arena of logic, I fight unarmed."I tweet & tumble.

Names like Green Bay Packers and Toronto Argonauts are literally just North American translations of what in Europe would be "Acme Packers FC" and "Argonaut FC" On the flip side, if Inter Milan and Real Madrid were on this side of the pond they'd be Milan Internationals and Madrid Royals respectively. Jezus_Ghoti
literally just North American translationsI think you're confused about what a literal translation is. North American names and European names (the soccer ones, at least) use totally different formats. Translation isn't the issue.
TBGKon
Looks great, the colors meld well, and do match the majestic feel of the name.Just curious, but what is this MLS rumor site you talked about?
GeauxColonels
Nothing is wrong. I think it's a great logo. It would work well as an insignia on the players' chests as well as on the leg of shorts. Also, it's a very good logo to put on hats and other merchandise. I think the "O" is subtle as it the flame in the "A". GREAT JOB!
