Unsure why the piping is different between home and roads, as well as the nameplate font.

The only reason I can come up with is that the home and away sets could have been made by two different manufacturers. Doing a quick Google search, I found a photo of the home uniform you have pictured with a white Russell emblem on it. Also, looking at a photo of last year's Kent home jersey, it almost looks like the "NB" logo is an embroidered patch, presumably sewn on top of the Russell emblem. To ensure continuity in how the two fonts match up with each other, schools usually order nameplate from the companies that the uniforms were made by (even if they are ordering nameplates from two different manufacturers).

So, more likely than not, the home jersey listed is a Russell pattern, while the road jersey is the closest style made by the new uniform manufacturer. This is a common practice by teams that have just signed a contract with a new apparel provider (Kent moving from Russell to New Balance). These companies usually give a little rope to schools that have just ordered a new set of uniforms the year before, meaning that they sometimes don't have to order two new sets of uniforms with the new manufacturer's logo. This is a very common practice for smaller schools who only have enough money to order home and away uniforms one year apart when it comes time to replace their uniforms. So, it looks like all New Balance did was make Kent just order a new set of road jerseys and simply give them a set of "NB" logo patches to sew over the Russell emblem on the home jerseys.

Did Tulane wear green pants last year, or is that a new addition this season?

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

References were a bitch to find....not quite sure if anything else is on the helmets. I think I saw "Broncos" on someone's neck bumper, and the MAC patch may be black, not brown.

I guessed on the diamond logo on the back of the helmet. It looks like the bucking bronco inside a starburst and a diamond shape, but I could not find definitive proof, nor a description of it.

Slapshot, this work is amazing. I applaud you for taking on this project, and your execution is phenomenal.

I second this, there should be a website for this, would make for a GREAT database for NCAA Football uniforms that could be built on over time.
