BBTV
Very possibly.Regardless, we have an example of a union stepping in to prevent a player from downsizing his pay.Wait, isn't the NBA a closed shop? How many current players are not in the union? It is very possible that there are no current NBA players that are not in the union. That does not mean the NBA is a closed shop - for it to be a closed shop, it would mean that one had to be in the union to play, which we already know is not the case.Wait a minute...The whole salary cap thing is the result of the CBA between the owners and the union.Wouldn't that imply that it is a closed shop (at least now?) If a player wasn't in the union, would he be exempt from the salary cap rules and other collectively bargained nuances of how the league operates? The union and the owners set the collective bargaining agreement up, yes. But here's the interesting thing - federal law requires the union to represent all players, even those not a member of the union. (Non-union members, BTW, have to pay a fee similiar to union dues if they're not a member of the union.Seriously? So what about things like benefits and other perks that are provided by the union? Do non-members get that too... or are they on their own? Island_Style
Am I the only one who thinks that Lebron hates the Cleveland area? I just think he kisses up for PR sake. His favorite college team was FSU, not OSU. He wore a Yankees hat during an Indians/Yankees playoff game. Then he wears a Yankee hat for his first press conference after his playoff loss. He knows whats goin on. He knows the buzz that will be generated for wearing that hat in that situation. I think he was making a statement. I could be wrong but I think he is gone. Why would he stay? The team around him is terrible. He doesnt have his Pippen. Hell, he doesn't even have his Grant. If you are going to play for a bad team, at least do it in a huge market. BTW, I don't think Jordan would have been "Jordan" if he played for San Antonio. I already forgot about Tim Duncan.
Gothamite
Hates the Cleveland area? No. I don't see any reason to think that.I think LeBron's just a star:censored:er. He seems to always latch on to the successful and fashionable clubs across the country as his favorites. We're lucky he doesn't come out now as a Lakers fan. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! crashcarson15
Many people all over the nation are Yankee fans and Florida State won their championship when LeBron was growning up IIRC which would explain that. I could care less that he's a Yankee fan as long as he brings a title to Cleveland.

FiddySicks
Sizemore man, cut down that sig.And the amount of teams you root for. I thought I was bad with having too many teams, that's just crazy On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Gothamite
Yeah. Do you really need to give a shout-out to nine MLB teams? I'm sure they each appreciate your support and everything, but still. Many people all over the nation are Yankee fans and Florida State won their championship when LeBron was growning up IIRC which would explain that. That's what I said - a star:censored:er. Add to that the Cowboys, and it's clear that he always roots for the overdog no matter what. His local roots are extremely shallow, which is kinda the point of this conversation. crashcarson15
I don't see the big deal but oh well...Many members have bigger sigs just with negative space. I really don't see the big issue with it but I don't know. Maybe I'll tone it down sometime...Oh, and I am aware that I root for way too many teams
Gothamite
If anybody else has a signature over 1000 pixels wide, they should cut it down as well. I suspect that you probably knew it was too much when you named it "NewGiantSig.png". The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. tBBP
So long as the cat don't end up in the name-change thread requesting "sizemattersmore" then I suppose he'll be alright. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
