Look at the bright side... they'll wear these in a throwaway season, then bolt for the Pac 12.

.....Where they can be Nike's guinea pig along with the Oregon Ducks. Can't wait! <_<

As a fan of block numbers and traditional stripes, I say HOORAY! I can't stand these new, stylized number fonts and piping all over the jersey. Give me simple block numbers and Northwestern stripes any day!

Agreed, those Buf uniforms were solid.

Except that those Northwestern "stripes" are simply glorified patches now.

Veru true, but these almost-stripe/glorified patches do look better than a good 70-80% of the new stuff that's released these days. I'd rather Colorado wear these throwbacks than come up with a new design that looks like crap. This set was a great look for them.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

Good for them if they do. Get rid of everything that they've done crappy over the past ten years or so. Those '90 uniforms were simple and classy, not the trash of today.

I thought the Buffs' most recent look was the best thing they've worn since the days of pinline numbering.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

I wish the Buffs would just go back to these:

The NCAA outlawed that number style for basketball, not sure if they did the same for football.

Yeah i noticed Gonzaga doesn't use this number style any more, why did the NCAA outlaw this number style?

Supposedly, there were several times where the numbers caused confusion for referees and scorers at schools. That was when Nike had like 20 schools with that style.

Because the NCAA's stupid. That number style is hands-down the best number style out there.

I gather you've never run the stat program for basketball. Those numbers are not easy to read when you're trying to stat a game.

Really? Would've never guessed they'd be that hard to read honestly.
