NEW.ERA
Bonus curling tomorrow: Great Britain battles Sweden in a play-in game for the 4th and final seed.I'd love to see the Brits win and take on Canada in the semis, in a rematch of what was THE match of the Olympics thus far.Out of all the Skips and teams Murdoch's team scares me the most but they don't call Kevin Martin and his the best in the world for nothing. Viper
I feel somewhat bad in saying this, but watching the Ladies' Short Program is the best night of the Winter Games. I enjoy every 2 min 50 sec program from each girl as many will see their dreams (and parents cashing in on it) will end with that first fall. All those 5am drives to the rink, dashed with the failure to make a triple flip/double toe combo 37 seconds in. I cannot stop laughing.I am so tempted to steal this and use it as my Facebook status... Of course if I did, I'd be lying, as I'm pretty much keeping my TV glued to CNBC and the hockey tournament tonight and tomorrow night.
HedleyLamarr
Whenever the US team conceded their match, they'd switch over to another match, and a couple times, they went to the Sweden match. Their skip's last name is Norberg. Was I the only one that pictured OJ Simpson tossing stones down the ice?
Korbyn
I wonder if I will get any sleep tonight, or if I will stay wide awake thinking about the hockey game that I will be watching in less then 24 hours.I am thinking the latter ... HedleyLamarr
And with a 3-run inning in the 7th, the Swiss force the US women to concede, winning 10-3.Thankfully, that awful display of US curling is over with.I blame Willie Randolph, Omar Minaya, and Fred Coupon. Shane Does Art
I'm calling an upset today in the Swiss/USA game.Swiss 3-2---Canada 5-2Finland 3-1Sweden 3-0, Though I have a feeling Slovakia could take it. Hi, how are you?
Korbyn
The Swiss are not intimidated at all by the States. The score is 0-0 going into the third period. I can smell the upset! At the end of the second it looked like Hiller scored on himself, however the clock had just expired before the puck went into the net.GO SWISS GO ! HedleyLamarr
Finally....the Americans find an eye in the Swiss defense.Need to keep the pressure on the Swiss...all it takes is one shot, one wacky bounce for this to be tied again.
Don
Miller hasnt had to play great, the defense has played amazing, blocking shots, active sticks, but Hiller has been killing us.
