NEW.ERA
Chile is now down Waldo Ponce and Marco Estrada IF they even make it through.Switzerland just needs to win 1-0 over Honduras and that's a stretch because the Swiss can't score to save their lives, but now once what was a +2 Goal Differential for the Chileans is now just an even one. Cujo
We're looking at a massive Chilean collapse, especially if the Swiss can breakthrough in their game. That'll be a real shame if it goes down that way. Chile was really starting to impress me.

Cujo
Switzerland now needs 2 goals. One, maybe. Asking for two is really pushing it. The Swiss' best chance is for Spain to run it up on Chile. Being down a man could still come back to haunt them.

To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with the USA squeaking by in group play. Plus, Ghana beat the USA in their last go around. So what makes 2010 any different than '06? (But as an American, I hope I'm wrong. )

(But as an American, I hope I'm wrong. )If you weren't impressed by the US, what impressed you about Ghana? They haven't proven they can score a goal unless the other team handballs in the box and gives them a PK. Overall I like the way it has panned out for the US. Playing Ghana and then potentially the winner of Uruguay and South Korea is about as "easy" a road to the Semis you could get. I'm excited to see a potential Brazil-Holland quaterfinal.
