zilch
Hope I make some kinda sense with this. I have noticed a couple of years ago that MLB started putting these abstract looking players on the media guides, ticket stubs, programs, and other promotional things around the stadiums. What I am asking is that are these part of the logo sets for the All-Star Games and World Series? I should have some items from the 2009 ASG at home and will try to post them to give some examples. Just wondering how long they have been doing this and if each year they are different (which I assume they are). I think they look pretty nice. Thanks,Zilch
FiddySicks
I think I know what you're talking about. I went to the 2004 All Star Game in Houston and the tickets for the game and the Home Run Derby had a player on it that sounds like it's similar to what you're talking about. If I can find the stubs I'll post a picture of them to see if that's what you're talking about. zilch
Is this something that could be added to the site, I would assume under each different WS and ASG?
njmeadowlanders
Yep, they have one on every all-star ballot from 2001 - 2006. None in 2007 2008 or 2010, 2009 has one, but not in the same "larger than life" style that the ones from 01-06 are.
