nash61
Tragic way to go, but she went out doing what she loved. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. JayJaxon
It's really crazy when you see someone so young pass on like that. It was way too soon. RIP
FiddySicks
Living in a ski resort town filled with many Olympic and X games athletes, this story has gotten pretty extensive coverage where I'm at. Very sad story and it just goes to show how dangerous snow sports can be, even with proper protection. I work at a ski resort and have witnessed the after effects of severe brain damage and even some deaths among the pro athletes and some friends due to ski/snowboard accidents. I really have to wonder if it's worth it. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) BigBubba
RIP. 29 is far too young an age to die. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature. PotD: 29/1/

knnhrvy16
As the accident occurred in Utah, there's been a decent amount of coverage regarding her condition on the news here this past week. Very sad to hear of her passing, she was an incredible athlete and a prominent face of her sport. My condolences to her family, friends, and to her fans in Canada and elsewhere. 29 is much, much too young to go. It's always tough to see a life cut that short. The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right. scottyvoodoo
As someone who knew Sarah and to a greater extent her husband Rory this was just tragic. In ski circles she is considered by the best female freestyler ever. She will truly be missed and my thoughts are with Rory and her family.
