FiddySicks
Cardinals fans must hate Matt Holliday. Bases loaded with only one out an you pop out to the second baseman? That's par for the course with this guy! On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) ninersdd
Cardinals let Gio off the hook again. They made him work, they just cannot center a pitch. Only guy who has is Descalso, and he doesn't have a lot of pop. But it IS a ball game again. A long ways to go in this one. 6-3.Gio Gonzalez doesn't look very good at all. Cards let him off the hook again that inning.Obviously everything's coming up Nationals right now, but I don't think I'd say anything definitively right now.We just saw a game yesterday in which their SHOULD have been a comeback from a 6-0 deficit, the Reds just could not find that key hit. Too early to write this one down in the books just yet.So there shouldn't have been a comeback then.Ok, sure. I'm not trying to take the credit away from anyone. My point is the Reds had ample opportunities. That game was not over the second the Giants went up 6-0. It easily could have been won by the Reds.Yeah, in the 6th inning there was the back breaking double play on the strikeout, the next inning(?) was a nice diving catch by Crawford, then in the 8th, Pagan makes a diving catch in center where at least a run would've scored had he not gotten it. In the 9th the Reds got 2 more people on base, but fortunately they survive Bruce's loooong at bat before striking out Rolen. Not in one of the innings after the 6-0 lead I wasn't nervous about the Reds scoring more. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion
STL FANATIC
Cardinals fans must hate Matt Holliday. Bases loaded with only one out an you pop out to the second baseman? That's par for the course with this guy!Nah. Holliday is about as good and as clutch as you can ask for. Just struggling this series. I'm sure SOME fans are overreacting, though.I hope he gets one more chance to come up big. He's too good to keep failing. STL FANATIC
This feels a lot like yesterdays Giants-Reds game. Cardinals cannot get the big hit. But there's still time and the top of the order will bat at least once more. We'll see. Should be a fun finish. DarkJourney
I'm not seeing The Nats as some scrappy underdog like some on here are are. Don't get it. Yeah they sucked for awhile. I consider them just another east coast drool machine for ESPN and others.
Kramerica Industries
The Expos/Nationals franchise hadn't been to the playoffs since 1981.Washington had not seen playoff baseball since 1933.Oh, and they're facing the rugged, defending World Series champions.I can totally see how those notions exist. infrared41
Here come the Cardinals. If they pull this off, all the bitching and hating is going to exceed the theoretical limits of the hate capacitor system. Head will surely explode. Should be fun. All roads lead to Dollar General. STL FANATIC
Motte just allowed a lead off single. He needs to put up a zero.In the ninth, the Cardinals will have the modern day Mr. October, an MVP-caliber hitter that is "due," and the best hitter on either team.Nationals just got another hit, though, so things are getting tense if the Cardinals are going to have a shot at the comeback. DarkJourney
Smartest man in all of this is Nats GM Mike Rizzo for building a team around one of the easiest ballparks to homer in.
