He's taken the Yankees deep four times in the past six playoff meetings.

He'll probably take them deep four more times before this one is over. That is, if the Tigers let the Yankees win a couple of games. This series is probably over in Detroit.

I know he hit a few last year, but still, Delmon Young? I don't think too many people would have guessed that.

Let's see if Jackson can help Detroit out here with a man on.

Team Justice pt 2 needs to conquer the evil baseball overlords.

edit: guess not.

This had all the makings of a wonderful win.

Oh well. Nick Swisher is absolutely the worst postseason ballplayer I have ever had the misfortune of watching. Can't hit, can't field, and can't even think at a halfway-average capacity. Add it all up, and what you get is worthlessness abounds.

Oh, and Jeter hurt. That's just the cherry on top of the :censored: sundae.

I'm assuming this is a reference to Swisher's attempt at a diving catch. That was just ugly.

Correct, sir. Jeter's injury stole the momentum of that joke.

Shouldn't Jeter getting hurt be a net gain for the Yankees? Or does his backup moonlight as the drummer for Def Leppard or something?
