WNDUP FX
I'm gonna start out with the Boston Bruins. C & C welcome. Behance | @scotmccormack
ThePreacher
That is AWESOME. I absolutely love it. I'm usually not a big fan of messing with tradition (especially the Original Six), but this just works. Great job!
WNDUP FX
Thanks. I was thinking about adding stripes to the bottom, but I kinda like the way it looks without them. Here's the New York Rangers jersey I just finished.Does anyone have the Rangers font? I couldn't find a shadowed font that was even close, so I doubled up the numbers on a grey fill. Behance | @scotmccormack
Lights Out
The Bruins logo looks a bit too clipart-ish to me, I think the logo needs to be simplified more. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
aci
With your Rangers logo, it may look better with the 'NYR' on an angle running up the right-hand side of the bottom of the shield. WNDUP FX
Here's the Bruins third redone with less detail on the logo. Hopefully it looks a lot less like clip art now.And here's a more detailed view of the redone logo. Behance | @scotmccormack
Generic
The Bruins one is really cool, classic vibe going on. Here's an idea for the New York Rangers one. What about the skyline instead of Lady Liberty, the New York Liberty uses that brand (in the same building) so maybe a different branding method should be carried out. andrewharrington
Bruins logo was much better before. You don't have to heed the advice of everyone. I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry [The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the position, strategy or opinions of adidas and/or its brands.]
WNDUP FX
Although no longer part of the NHL, I came up with a concept to use a snowshoe shaped fleur de lis for the Nordiques and wanted to test it out. I may still add the netting on the crest logo, but for now here's the first concept. Behance | @scotmccormack
WNDUP FX
No comments at all? Interesting. Here's the updated version with the netting on the snowshoe. Behance | @scotmccormack
Generic
Decent, creative idea. Possibly if you structured the Fleur-De-Lis to look more like the one on the shoulders. Also you still have some work to do on the Rangers.
WNDUP FX
Here's a work in progress view of my New York Rangers concept featuring the Chrysler Building. C&C welcome. Behance | @scotmccormack
hockey week
that's definitely nice and unique. I really feel it needs to be encased in some shape...the shield seems most obvious, but i'd like to see something else. I'll respect any opinion that you can defend. WNDUP FX
Thanks. I think if I tweak it a bit it'll work as a secondary logo with the Statue of Liberty (posted above) as the primary.Edit: There aren't a lot of secondary logos with flat bottoms (Nashville's old secondary is the only one I can think of), but in my opinion it works rather well as is. Canadian_Idiot
Thanks. I was thinking about adding stripes to the bottom, but I kinda like the way it looks without them. Here's the New York Rangers jersey I just finished.Does anyone have the Rangers font? I couldn't find a shadowed font that was even close, so I doubled up the numbers on a grey fill. That statue looks a little like Che Guevara. As for the bruins bear- That is one pissed-off lookin' bear!
Generic
Instead of a stump at the base of the building, trap it in a shield. Great detail on the Chrysler Building btw. What if you arched the script like the back of the Rangers jerseys? That'd be really really cool.
WNDUP FX
Here's the logo within a shield (which I agree looks a lot more complete and will tie in with the Liberty branding).Edit: Here's the primary logo redone in two slightly different versions. WNDUP FX
Haha, wouldn't we all. I'll add it to the list.Edit: Here is the New York Rangers home concept. Behance | @scotmccormack
hockey week
i think you could keep the radiating points from your original Chrysler Building concept with the shield, which looks a whole lot more awesome (gives a look of depth with the building, really emphasizes a height to it) I'll respect any opinion that you can defend.
