Different weights of United, and Bank Gothic. However, I agree, the Bank Gothic throws a wrench into the cogs, so to speak.Pretty solid logo, however, I do think it's better than the 2009 logo. Buster Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 I realize there are palm trees in Florida where the game was won, but I immediately thought Hawaii when I saw them. Plus, Alabama isn't known for tropical trees, so it does look odd on an Alabama logo. It just doesn't work well. It makes me think the design was already done and they were going to slap an 'A' or an 'ND' in the center and pick a color after the game. Looks generic in that sense. They show the elephant logo as the primary logo when that is not the case.
