S82 Competition

begins saturday april 8th

Well, after a long pondering I have decided to break out to public a logo/design competition (for fun).

It will be a 32-man competition(will be cut down if are fewer), so im looking for willing competitors. There are 5 rounds in an elimination bracket(sort of like a post-march madness). I will assign each competitor a seed number, based on random selection, and a division (either green or grey). Voting will be done by the public, and each entry will be posted by me and the creator will be kept anonymous. Each round will consist of matches 1-on-1(round one = 16 matches, round two = 8 matches, and so on...)

Rules:

1.) once Rd. 1 begins there will be no exposure of your entry.

2.) the file will be sent to me as your seed number, round, and then followed by division. Either .jpg,.ai (illustrator 10),or .gif

ex: 8.1-grey.jpg

(8) represents seed (1) represents round and (grey) is the division.

3.) Entry must follow round guide lines

4.) Entry must be turned in by due date

- It could be a business identity, sports logo, or uniform.

-On the other hand some rounds may consist of a complete package(unis, primary, secondary, wordmark).

*.png will be acceptable. I normally use .gif or .jpg for saving images for the web.

*there will be plenty of time between rounds approx. 14 days will be the deadline per round. I will be going on vacation for 5 days.
