Nike Pro Combat Concepts

Recommended Posts

Last year I drew up (on paper with markers and such) some Nike Pro Combat concepts for various college football teams. Over the past few months, I have learned how to use Inkscape, and I can now make my concepts on the computer. So I am taking my original ideas that I drew and putting them in digital form, for you all to see. Enjoy!

Kansas State

The main idea behind K-State was to use the wildcat scratch marks, but not to over-do it. I used 3 marks everywhere, from the 3 main sections of the logo. Graphite replaces their regular silver color.

C+C is greatly appreciated.

I love it so far, but it's Oregon, you have to have the metallic wings on the shoulders. Nice job so far, and is that a little inspiration from Colorado State there?

or oregons early 2000s unis which i belive had Os on it everywhere

I would try it with yellow outline on the numbers instead of black.

No because when the Irish came to Ireland and first came in contact with the leprechaun people, they didn't take their land away and force them to move west. Instead, the two groups learned to assimilate peacefully. However, certain tribes of the leprechaun refused to taint the pure blood and moved north into the forests of Ireland, only to be seen rarely, usually at the same time of a rainbows appearance and occasionally at the factories of Lucky Charms.

Because metallic wings on the uniforms are so deeply ingrained in Oregon history? Sort of like black and steel as a color scheme.

I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry

Oregon

Black and steel are the main colors used here, with the jersey being green. The O logo is used in the shoulder design.

Oregon's too much of a fashion-plate for my taste. They seem to experiment with a lot of uniform styles that it gives me a headache! I say stick with a singular home/away combo!

I'd like to see what someone does with Washington State, using the old script logo on the helmet.

I just think the Oregon concept needs more yellow: make the number and the Oregon "O" on the pants yellow, and I think it'd be perfect.

For some reason the wings are translating as "grass" for me, but I like that you're keeping with their recent designs. It's great how they don't stick out so much. They blend nicely into the green. :)
