  1. Bull's city jersey? From reddit.
  2. Do I need to put down #sarcasm #joking #notserious #dontreadcommentasbringserious next time?
  3. The Colorado Avalanche went the cheap route on their Stanley Cup rings. The top doesn't open or is reversible. It merely has a total of 669 diamonds, 18 custom cut genuine sapphires, 2 round genuine sapphires, and 42 custom cut genuine rubies.
  4. I like that San Jose tried something different with the all teal gear. It doesn't look horrible to me. But, it's an easy fix if the fans don't like it that much. They could make the switch over next season. If they retained their black stealth alternate, they could maybe even make the switch this season or test it out for a game or two.
  5. It's a small thing, but it doesn't look right without the pant stripes.
  6. Helmet ads have arrived in junior hockey, at least in the WHL for a couple of teams. The Vancouver Giants and Moose Jaw Warriors both have helmet ads. Only a matter of time before they get ads on the jerseys. The only surprising part is that it didn't already happen like by a couple of decades.
  7. Damn. I didn't know you had to pay extra for the privilege of having an authentic jersey with an ad patch in Boston. Is that the case in any other place?
  8. I was going to make a joke about them being all Flyers fans, but the rumored burnt orange alternate could be testing the waters for a switch. Moving into a new building would be a perfect time to do it. Their current home jersey is too dark and either a purple or orange jersey would be a nice change.
  9. There are plans for a new building in Tempe, but it's still in the planning/approval stage. If they don't get it, this has to be it and the team ends up moving somewhere else, whether that's Houston or Quebec. In the past, the team was close to moving back to Winnipeg. Rumor was there was a possible move to Seattle. It was sold to Jim Balsille and he wanted to move it to Hamilton, but the league blocked that from happening.
  10. Okay. So I was wrong. There are some weirdos out there.
  11. Why not quote everything that I wrote, which was if the jersey was cheaper and I could take the patch off. At regular prices, nobody is buying a jersey with an ad. If it were $50 or more off and I knew I could take the patch off, SOLD. I'm not going to lie. And, I bet there's a lot more people who would do the same, including some people on this board. They might not admit it.
  12. Yeah, I know that. I just feel the name shouldn't have been Retro Reversed, but Retro Remixed. It's a small detail that bugs me more than it probably should. Moving on. My sources says Coyotes getting a burnt orange alt. My source: instagram. Trust me bro.
  13. But there was no orange on the original, so how is that reversing? If they are reversing, then it should be a white jersey. It probably doesn't bother anyone else and probably isn't that big of a deal in the end, but I feel the program should have been called Retro Remixed to be more accurate since many of the first sets did not actually flip the colours around like how St. Louis or Columbus did. And, yes, I know they said remixed as part of the hype a couple of years ago.
  14. It's fine, but where is the reverse part? I guess with having a white jersey the first time around, they didn't want to do it again.
  15. It's only the jersey that they are selling with the ad and you can get one without it. I can't really see too many people, if any, will buy one, even with the charity component attached to it. Only way I would buy a jersey with an ad is if it were cheaper and I could easily remove the patch like how I did with the Reebok jock tag. Everything else will be ad free and I can't see people not ponying up to support their favourite team.
  16. The league and the teams know that after the initial anger over the ads, the majority of fans will get over it, or at least, use to it. What are fans really going to do? Not buy tickets? Not but any merch? Not watch at all? Not likely to any of that. At the end of the day, professional sports is a business, and there's no such thing as too much money.
  17. With Adidas getting out of the hockey business next year, what does this mean for the Golden Knights gold jersey after this year? Would the new supplier be able to use the same fabrics and be able to replicate it?
  18. The first new jersey the Barracudas released a really long while back. Their Blackout jersey. Most definitely the worst of the their new jerseys.
  19. San Jose Barracudas "Steel" jerseys that they released a while back. It's their third jersey.
  20. Calgary Canucks new jerseys. Their dark uniform is also the same as the Flames home jersey.
  21. I either read about it or heard about it a while ago, but maybe it was also just my imagination. Quick peek over at the Canucks online store, though, does have them being on sale with a fairly big discount I thought the leaked retro was navy.
  22. It's rookie tournament, so there's really no reason to give them two sets of pants. The Leafs, for whatever reason, wore their practice jerseys for their rookie tournament game against Dallas last night.
  23. My guess he was one of the last guys to show up and hasn't been given the new pants yet. The manufacturer's mark is down the sides on the new pants, but OEL's is still on the front. All of the players, at least those that have been in Vancouver for a while now, have been wearing the stripe less pants, including the two new free agents. They could be worn with those jerseys, but I also thought they were being dumped this year? Considering there was no white stripes on the jersey itself, the solid blue pants made more sense. The prospects have been wearing the solid blue pants, as well.
