I'm not on board with them changing or even bringing back the trident... but... with this concept, purely from artistic objectivity, I would try dotting the (lower case) 'i' with a solid compass rose silhouette, as a nod to the current long-time identity.

I’d actually say the opposite, they didn’t think long enough. The easy way is “top two teams in each division”. The correct line of thinking should’ve been “We only have 8 teams. What gives us the best shot to have the top 4 teams in the playoffs?”

Actually, they're coming along on a plan to build a new one were the Trop currently sits and develop around it... in St. Pete. I mean it's far from a done deal, but that's where the focus seems to be at the moment.

The XFL should’ve adopted the Crossover Rule from the CFL. For a league this small, it makes the most sense.

It technically went to the 5th tiebreaker because they didn’t reach 34. Seattle had it with that one.

Doubt most of those are actually still in the league. Where are they gonna play? Are they gonna be able to put the Gamblers in Houston with the Roughnecks already there?

Wait, I thought Pittsburgh and New Jersey were the two Canton-based teams. Yet the Michigan-Philadelphia game, evidently the two Detroit-based teams, are also playing their game in Canton. What’s going on? I’m lost. This whole league set-up is one confusing, convoluted mess.

All of that doesn’t matter when it interrupts our viewing of the game. THAT’S why we watch football. If he’s acting as a commentator for the game, fine. But if he’s just promoting his channel and they’re talking about other stuff outside of the game we’re watching, it’s nonsense, gimmicky and irrelevant.

Yeah I think 2025 is the earliest we would see them playing in Las Vegas. It may really come down to what they and Oakland can agree to going forward or if one side wants to end the "relationship" as soon as possible. Either side, really.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility, even if less likely, that they could come to a mutual agreement with Oakland to end the lease after this season and they begin playing at Las Vegas Ballpark next year. Although I think they'd at least want a concrete stadium plan in the works before they move.

That's because they're also acting as pitchmen for the league. Same thing with FOX and the USFL. They're trying to hype it up to attract viewers, when all the while, we want it treated like a legit football league. THAT would be the ultimate sales pitch. One way would be to stop with the damn in-game sideline interviews. Those are the things that make it feel gimmicky.

Triple-A and Double-A are the levels that most often get direct calls to the majors during the season. Having them closer to the parent club's home market/stadium makes it easier and faster for the players to be available in a game. THAT'S why teams like the Braves moved theirs to Gwinnet and why they brought St. Paul and Sugar Land into MiLB. If you put the ideal geographical layout of the different levels in relation to the parent club, Triple-A would be the closest, followed by Double-A, then High-A, Low-A and then rookie (which is at Spring Training facilities). And as I mentioned, it's already been said the Aviators are NOT gonna be forced out of Sumerlin.

It's already been stated that Las Vegas will get to keep the Aviators. Whether they stay Triple-A or not, I don't know. The California League is the only other option. Either way, I think they'd at least change their name to something like the Southern Nevada Aviators, just to avoid confusion. And the trend has been placing Triple-A, and to an extent, Double-A closest to the MLB parent club for closer proximity for call-ups so they're not having to travel so far and can be ready to play sooner.

Seriously? Don't sit there all high and mighty and judge TruColor as if he did anything wrong. People hound and nag at him to give them details about uniforms before they're released, even though he's stated numerous times he can only reveal so much. And this time he clearly stated again and again that the uniforms were just what someone was telling him. He never claimed them to be 100% accurate, only just what he was hearing. And yet people still keep hounding him so he gives what information he can. And when it doesn't turn out exactly like that, y'all turn on him as if he's let everyone down. Y'all wanted details. He gave you what he could and it still wasn't good enough. If I were him, anytime someone asked for info, I'd tell them to off. But he's a nice guy, so he won't.
