  1. They initially filed a lawsuit when West Virginia was accepted into the Big XII, arguing they were supposed to be the next one let in (whether they argued they were told that or just felt they should be, I'm not sure). They dropped it and then went to the ACC. If the Big XII was their preference or just their best shot at a power 5, I don't know. But I think they'd fit a little better. And if the ACC appears to be a sinking ship at all, I don't doubt they'd take the opportunity and jump.
  2. That was their BP jersey that they added with the 1998 update (along with the new primary logo and Sunday caps). They mentioned that they may use them in actual games, but that one-time game in 1999 where they auctioned them off afterwards was the only time they ever did wear them.
  3. They've actually been struggling lately after being in first place for the first month+. But still better than expected and I think Cutch is gonna have a good veteran effect on a talented young team. Cruz is out, but they extend Reynolds, who had previously requested a trade, so I'd say things are looking up for the Buccos... dammit.
  4. He's been on some practice squads over the last few years. He may get a chance at a back-up spot, even if only temporarily, but yeah I think he'll continue to be one of the top spring league QBs. Him and McCarron for sure, and then Ta'amu and DiNucci, as well, if they're not on an active NFL roster. McCarron has said he's open to playing in the NFL again, and he certainly has the most overall experience at every level, so that may be more appealing from an NFL team perspective. But I think he'd prefer a situation where he plays more (so a not good team with either no QB or a young, inexperienced one). My prediction is all four will be back in the XFL next year, which will provide some strong continuity and quality for the league going into their first second season.
  5. Or they moved to Nashville/Montreal and an expansion team was placed in Orlando.
  6. "We can dance if we want to..."
  7. How can anyone not when you literally bring it up in every post.
  8. How did Ta'amu top both DiNucci AND McCarron for all-XFL first team QB? EDIT: Well McCarron was named MVP, so... Still, I like Ta'amu (Battlehawks QB in 2020), but he was definitely 3rd behind DiNucci and McCarron in overall QB ranks for the season, IMO.
  9. The XFL and USFL are the types of leagues I would expect to have ads on their jerseys, so they don't really bother me.
  10. So the point of the ad placement for the batter is to be on the sleeve that faces the camera. Yet the ads for every pitcher is on their non-pitching sleeve… which faces away from the camera.
  11. The best way I can describe them is as an underwhelming upgrade.
  12. Honestly couldn't even tell it was outlined in navy until the picture of the patches FiddySicks posted. Last night, watching the game, I genuinely thought it was just one-color red lettering. I truly fooled myself into believing the Cardinals weren't doing one anytime soon, especially with the Bruce Sutter memorial patch on the same sleeve for everybody. But if they're gonna do one, this is about as best as you can hope for... I guess.
  13. Ok, you're literally just talking to yourself. I don't think you're gonna find anybody who agrees with you. At least not to the extent your taking this.
  14. They took off the Bruce Sutter memorial patch? They usually wear those things for the whole year.
  15. If I'm Thomson, I'm pulling his @$$ out of the game if he even thinks about sliding head first.
  16. Being a St. Louis fan, I prefer the XFL. But the Michigan Panthers, by far, definitely have the best uniforms between both leagues.
  17. Great. Are we gonna go the G-League route and end up with the "DG-League"?
  18. I'm gonna assume, for your sake, that you are just overexaggerating that last part to mess with people.
