  1. I don't know if I should be getting my hopes too high after only beating Temple. by 8, but hey, 3-0astal Carolina is tough to complain about. very interested in seeing more of what Ethan Vasko can do, because he's been a more than solid replacement for McCall thus far.
  2. big improvement. I'm not sure how you could look back at the warmed-over pseudo-throwback they've been using and actually say with a straight face that you prefer it.
  3. actually, no, that flag doesn't have to get thrown. like DG said, the DB was completely behind him; how the hell is that not a catchable pass? and how many Chiefs games have we been having this exact same argument at the end of, now? there's a point where correlation inarguably equals causation. hell, at least the Brady-era Pats actually felt like they were trying on their game-winning drives; with the Chiefs, it really feels like all that's going through Mahomes' head is "eh, screw it, they'll throw a flag for some reason or another." and it feels like it's every single time.
  4. Buffalo vs. Miami San Francisco vs. Minnesota Seattle vs. New England NY Giants vs. Washington LA Chargers vs. Carolina New Orleans vs. Dallas Indianapolis vs. Green Bay Cleveland vs. Jacksonville NY Jets vs. Tennessee Tampa Bay vs. Detroit Las Vegas vs. Baltimore LA Rams vs. Arizona Cincinnati vs. Kansas City Pittsburgh vs. Denver Chicago vs. Houston Atlanta vs. Philadelphia
  5. folks, it is once again time to ask the age-old question: Is Syracuse Good?
  6. me whenever I learn any new information about anyone even tangentially connected to the Kansas City Chiefs organization
  7. potentially even more insane, if you wanna cross sports: the Yankees have played in more WS games than every regular season & postseason game the LA Raiders ever played in. a team that was there for thirteen seasons and made the playoffs in seven of those, including a SB win.
  8. play me in, boltman. Baltimore vs. Kansas City Empacotadores x Águias Carolina vs. New Orleans Minnesota vs. NY Giants New England vs. Cincinnati Pittsburgh vs. Atlanta Houston vs. Indianapolis Arizona vs. Buffalo Tennessee vs. Chicago Jacksonville vs. Miami Denver vs. Seattle Las Vegas vs. LA Chargers Dallas vs. Cleveland Washington vs. Tampa Bay LA Rams vs. Detroit NY Jets vs. San Francisco
  9. the Yankees have played more World Series games (225) than the Seattle Pilots played games in their entire history. including spring training.
  10. couldn't have happened to a nicer program.
  11. >Sonics to OKC >Jets to Phoenix >Whalers to Raleigh >A's and Raiders to Vegas >Grizzlies to Memphis >Oilers to Nashville >Rams to St. Louis those are the ones I'd personally consider the most offensive, but it's really hard to top what happened to the Sonics. absolutely miserable harbinger of the relocation/expansion trends that would follow. I'd also be remiss not to mention the aborted Crew to Austin relocation, which would've been top-3 worst easily had it actually gone through.
  12. jesus christ, this might actually be Syracuse's conference to win. terrifying prospect.
  13. yeah, Vipers in a landslide, what a set. though I'm curious, is it too late to suggest Venom as an alternate name
  14. as someone who cared very much about the X Games from a very young age, I remember there being a big discourse in the skate community about whether or not people wanted it to actually be represented in the Olympics, and I'm not sure why. is it "selling out" when skate contests have been a thing since the beginning? it definitely feels more prestigious than Street League. I maintain that the only reason skateboarding didn't become an Olympic sport much sooner is because of drug testing.
