  1. I'm pretty sure the Broncos regular orange jerseys are a different shade as their Color Rush orange jerseys.
  2. I seem to recall in maybe 1998 that the Buccaneers played the Chiefs at the University of Oklahoma
  3. South Florida adds a new black helmet to pair with their black SoFlo alternate uniforms this weekend versus Howard. Looks like there’s some green glitter in the base, like the black Arizona Cardinals helmet.
  4. Games like this one are why the 12 team playoff will be interesting. Anything can happen.
  5. Agreed. 12 teams is good for the time being. I believe the last proposal was to have the top 6 ranked conference champs be guaranteed in the playoffs, not necessarily the Power 5 plus 1. The remaining 6 would be at large. The top 4 ranked conference champs would be seeded and get a first round bye.
  6. I wouldn't have expected a wholesale changeover, but keep the logo and update the uniforms. Maybe add a logo crest for a jersey, and relegate the script to wordmark only.
  7. We could have an update by Friday to know if we'll have a 12-team College Football Playoff in the 2026 season, or as early as the 2024 season if the right details line up. https://www.si.com/college/2022/08/31/college-football-playoff-expansion-meeting-future
  8. Bucs did the same with Logan Ryan, in assumption that Ryan Jensen is going on the IR today. I assume most of the guys the Cowboys cut were vested veterans, who dont go thru waivers and become free agents. In that case, they just hold tight and sign back the next day or so.
  9. Colorado in the south makes that division spread across 3 time zones. Not ideal for divisional TV matchups. I know its not traditional, but at least with Colorado in the central and Cincinnati in the South it would have the divisions either in the same time zone, or one away in Colorado's case.
  10. Pretty sure the Thunder were the inspiration for the red Reverse Retros, as per this article. The red was for the Wranglers and the design was for the Thunder. https://www.nhl.com/goldenknights/news/vegas-golden-knights-and-adidas-unveil-all-new-reverse-retro-jersey/c-319636918
  11. This is a great move. I've always felt you should play all teams at least for 1 series.
  12. So if shirt color in the leaks is the jersey color, the Lightning appear to be headed towards a white version of the 90s storm alternate. Panthers light blue with the original hockey stick palm tree logo? Some of the photos got cut off of the preview, but if you click in you can see them all.
  13. I believe the Cardinals were supposed to open the new stadium that year, but I think there were construction delays.
  14. That's the thought. I would think we'll know more in the next few months. Usually the next seasons schedule comes out in September.
  15. Not exactly. NBA and NHL play all teams, so at minimum the final 2 teams have played at least twice. MLB will be fixing this next year, as all 30 teams will play at least 1 series each season starting in 2023. The NFL is the one where it has the least chance to occur, but you cant have a 30+ week NFL season.
  16. If I recall, there were some pretty serious wildfires in and around LA in the year prior to and around when the name was unveiled. If Wildfire was the first choice, they made a good decision.
  17. Also, just realized Colorado and New Mexico are in the Southwest region. With the new addition of the Mountain region, it makes me wonder if CO and NM will move there at some point.
  18. I assume that the tournament format change forced some sites to double up this year with plans hopefully to find more local sites starting 2023.
  19. Not that I am aware of, but he would be ineligible for any 2022 postseason run. I believe it was confirmed that he would be eligible for 2023 playoffs if it happens.
  20. Technically it's not really a Heat proprietary script. It dates back to the original Miami Arena. Not sure who owns it but it could be public domain to an extent.
  21. You know, in outdoor lighting these are actually not bad. Not perfect, but far from bad. I know they're not traditional but Washington had to move to the polar opposite when making this change.
  22. You must be reading Reddit way too much. Outside of some kind of alternate identity, I doubt UCF would revert back to Citronauts.
