  1. So if shirt color in the leaks is the jersey color, the Lightning appear to be headed towards a white version of the 90s storm alternate. Panthers light blue with the original hockey stick palm tree logo? Some of the photos got cut off of the preview, but if you click in you can see them all.
  2. I believe the Cardinals were supposed to open the new stadium that year, but I think there were construction delays.
  3. That's the thought. I would think we'll know more in the next few months. Usually the next seasons schedule comes out in September.
  4. Not exactly. NBA and NHL play all teams, so at minimum the final 2 teams have played at least twice. MLB will be fixing this next year, as all 30 teams will play at least 1 series each season starting in 2023. The NFL is the one where it has the least chance to occur, but you cant have a 30+ week NFL season.
  5. If I recall, there were some pretty serious wildfires in and around LA in the year prior to and around when the name was unveiled. If Wildfire was the first choice, they made a good decision.
  6. Not that I am aware of, but he would be ineligible for any 2022 postseason run. I believe it was confirmed that he would be eligible for 2023 playoffs if it happens.
  7. Technically it's not really a Heat proprietary script. It dates back to the original Miami Arena. Not sure who owns it but it could be public domain to an extent.
  8. You know, in outdoor lighting these are actually not bad. Not perfect, but far from bad. I know they're not traditional but Washington had to move to the polar opposite when making this change.
  9. You must be reading Reddit way too much. Outside of some kind of alternate identity, I doubt UCF would revert back to Citronauts.
  10. I see Oakland is wearing the Kelly green alts on the road in Houston tonight. Have they worn those on the road before?
  11. The Hockey Lodge is the Wild's official team store. It makes sense if their jerseys will have the patch, much like the NBA rule where the ad is only on jerseys sold at the official team stores and no where else.
  12. Didnt see it here, but looks like the Eagles wore green numbers during practice over the weekend in support of the Eagles Autism Foundation
  13. I guess it wouldn't be out of the question, but based on the Giants uniform schedule it doesn't appear to be likely.
  14. When you see the WHL Calgary Wranglers logo from the 70s and 80s, it makes more sense.
  15. Doubtful. With the NHL at 32 teams, I see them staying put at that number for a while.
  16. The difference there is that the Admirals look to have local ownership and the now Wranglers were owned by the Flames themselves. For the Preds to have a team closer to home, they'd likely have to purchase a team themselves. if the Admirals arent interested in selling, then the Preds would have to search elsewhere for a franchise.
  17. Exactly. Speaking as a local, anytime after late October/early November thru beginning of March is a crapshoot. 2021 for example, November was mild and comfortable. December was surprisingly above average and humid.
  18. Yes. Most teams don't wear alternates in the preseason. I do know the Panthers have done it occasionally and it always counts toward the three games.
  19. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/deshaun-watson-browns-nfl-suspension/tmgtu9pzyg2zjdbgn6wknzot From this article... "The length of the suspension was the decision of retired federal judge Sue L. Robinson, who oversaw the Watson disciplinary hearings in June. She noted that Watson's "non-violent sexual conduct" helped him avoid a longer suspension."
  20. The league has 3 days to appeal. Watson should seriously be out for all of 2022.
  21. The standing elf Browns option is the one I like, but I wish it had the 2D helmets in the endzones instead of the 3/4 angle.
  22. So based on this statement about alternate uniforms, it makes me wonder if the Panthers really did designate the black jerseys the alternate to pair with a black helmet.
  23. Same. The Rays reporter for the Tampa Bay Times added a detail recently that the Rays were ditching the gray jerseys for 2023 and beyond and sticking with the navy and Columbia blue tops for road games. My hope is that they also add a pair of Columbia blue pants for road games with a matching top for clashes with navy at home teams (potentially Seattle, Cleveland, Houston, etc)
