  1. Outside of the one against the Bengals, he missed the next two and came back against the Steelers on SNF. His second concussion on Christmas pretty much ended his season.
  2. There's a temperature difference between the two cities?
  3. I was already surprised about Texas being here, but I can't believe Arizona is in it as well. That is just wild to me. Both literally finished with over 100 losses two years ago!
  4. At first I thought I was bombing this week, but then I remembered that everyone else picked nearly the same as me. 6-7 feels like a good W for me. Tampa Bay vs. Buffalo NY Jets vs. NY Giants Jacksonville vs. Pittsburgh Philadelphia vs. Washington LA Rams vs. Dallas Minnesota vs. Green Bay Atlanta vs. Tennessee New England vs. Miami New Orleans vs. Indianapolis Houston vs. Carolina Cleveland vs. Seattle Cincinnati vs. San Francisco Kansas City vs. Denver Baltimore vs. Arizona Chicago vs. LA Chargers Las Vegas vs. Detroit
  5. Weird that they used the Eagles throwback logo for SNF, but didn't for the Patriots several weeks ago.
  6. A New York sports fan rooting for a team from rival Philadelphia. Your disdain for warm-weather cities makes no sense.
  7. Yeah, I've never understood why Boston has been kept in the dark. Weren't they accused of practically the same thing or am I missing some telling detail?
  8. I'm doing better than I would've thought. Still pretty early though. Jacksonville vs. New Orleans Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta Las Vegas vs. Chicago Cleveland vs. Indianapolis Washington vs. NY Giants Detroit vs. Baltimore Buffalo vs. New England Arizona vs. Seattle Pittsburgh vs. LA Rams LA Chargers vs. Kansas City Green Bay vs. Denver Miami vs. Philadelphia San Francisco vs. Minnesota
  9. I'm thinking that last year wasn't much of a fluke. This Phillies team is really good.
  10. Denver vs. Kansas City Baltimore vs. Tennessee Washington vs. Atlanta Minnesota vs. Chicago Seattle vs. Cincinnati San Francisco vs. Cleveland Carolina vs. Miami Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville New Orleans vs. Houston New England vs. Las Vegas Arizona vs. LA Rams Philadelphia vs. NY Jets Detroit vs. Tampa Bay NY Giants vs. Buffalo Dallas vs. LA Chargers
  11. The NBA and NHL also do seeding that way. I guess earning the top seed isn't as desirable now since you could very well play the next best team before even getting to the conference/league championship.
  12. Lamar Jackson is trash now. The Ravens bolster the receiving core in what feels like the first time ever for them and he still can't throw consistently. That 2019 season is long in the rearview mirror.
  13. The logos have gotten worse after each new one. It's like they're trying too hard to make it abstract.
  14. It feels like the Orioles got the tougher end of the AL playoffs, even though they're the top seed. I know you have to eventually face tougher opponents as you advance, but this Rangers team looks dangerous. They could've been a top seed if they didn't choke it up.
  15. Chicago vs. Washington Jacksonville vs. Buffalo New Orleans vs. New England Tennessee vs. Indianapolis Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh Carolina vs. Detroit Houston vs. Atlanta NY Giants vs. Miami Cincinnati vs. Arizona Philadelphia vs. LA Rams NY Jets vs. Denver Kansas City vs. Minnesota Dallas vs. San Francisco Green Bay vs. Las Vegas
  16. I've mentioned before that I don't watch FNIA unless my team (Dolphins) is being featured (which is also rarely). I will add to this and say that I usually don't watch SNF games unless both teams featured generate my interest, or if it's my team. When I watched Miami play in their first SNF game in a while against the Steelers last year, it reminded me of how much of a toolbag Colinsworth is. I couldn't get enough of his constant "Never count out the Pittsburgh Steelers! This is what they do!" blabber. Like dude, STFU. I seriously contemplated putting the game on mute. The whole NFL on NBC coverage is just unbearable. I didn't watch the game last night, and like many Sunday nights, I didn't miss anything noteworthy.
  17. The Bengals looked bad. I don't know if Burrow will be healthy at any point this season, but coming back from 1-3 is a bit daunting, considering the division they have to play in. (I could probably be eating these words in a few weeks; that tends to happen)
  18. I thought the crest was a minor secondary logo at first. A little underwhelming, but it should be easy enough to use in merchandise and media applications. The colors are too bright. One of them has to be toned down more.
  19. Detroit vs. Green Bay Atlanta vs. Jacksonville LA Rams vs. Indianapolis Baltimore vs. Cleveland Minnesota vs. Carolina Cincinnati vs. Tennessee Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans Miami vs. Buffalo Denver vs. Chicago Washington vs. Philadelphia Pittsburgh vs. Houston Las Vegas vs. LA Chargers Arizona vs. San Francisco New England vs. Dallas Kansas City vs. NY Jets Seattle vs. NY Giants
  20. Caleb Williams is going to find it pretty difficult to avoid an "unfavorable" situation, given that he is a top projected pick and the worst teams right now are almost all pretty dysfunctional. It would be funny if say, the Bears, get the number one pick next year and he decides to avoid them... only for the same team to get the top pick the following year, right where he would be projected.
  21. Most points scored since the NFL merger I believe. Wild performance by Miami. Also, Russell Wilson should be kept out of the Hall of Fame, seriously.
  22. NY Giants vs. San Francisco Atlanta vs. Detroit LA Chargers vs. Minnesota New Orleans vs. Green Bay Houston vs. Jacksonville Denver vs. Miami Tennessee vs. Cleveland Buffalo vs. Washington Indianapolis vs. Baltimore New England vs. NY Jets Carolina vs. Seattle Chicago vs. Kansas City Dallas vs. Arizona Pittsburgh vs. Las Vegas Philadelphia vs. Tampa Bay *LA Rams vs. Cincinnati * - may have to change if Burrow is out...
  23. I was referring to Devin McCourty. I don't have FNIA on when my team isn't playing, so I don't know if he came in last year or not. It's the first time I've seen him. That NE defense is always so damn intense. I thought Miami was gonna get shut down in the second half again like in their SNF game against Pittsburgh last year. Two wins on the road is a great start, though. It initially looked to me that his knee came down before the football got past the hash line. Looking at the replays further, I can't say for certain though because the camera didn't provide a straight angle and I didn't have a good view of the football. Not the most climactic way to end a game (but it admittingly favored my team).
  24. Does NBC really need another New England Patriot on their crew?
  25. So these are just a one-time thing, both uniforms and logo? Sorry if it's been brought up before; I've just never seen a team unveil a whole new package, only for it to be used in just a single season.
