  1. Except it’s not straight one color vs another. It would be Penguins vs. Flyers Black and gold and white vs. white and orange and black Each jersey has lots of designs. Besides the color at home brings a lot of classic designs back to the home fans. The Habs, Rangers, even the Blackhawks all have superior dark jerseys. The Habs especially have a classic design that should be worn at home. Home teams should be wearing the color that most people are gonna be decked out in. And that’s not gonna be white... The only exception there is the Jets with their white out. (Or I guess the Coyotes white outs, but that’s not as comparable.) The Jets should wear white at home during the playoffs...
  2. I always thought the Calgary Flames did the 2 over 3 outlines nicely. At a distance the yellow is minimal on the numbers so not having it on the NOB isn’t a big deal. Also the Bruins has that on their road jerseys in the Reebok era, because it was hard to read as a triple layer NOB. Otherwise yes... That is all correct.
  3. I saw these posted to facebook the other day on a jersey selling group. I thought this was really interesting direction that the Oilers were looking to go. Clearly the Orange base was the plan for a while, even before navy came into the mix. These do look legit, but I'm not 100% sure... (The other images are in a spoiler, because they're huge...)
  4. As far as I can tell, SBC stands for Spaceball Cadet. And the logo seems to prove it...
  5. The orange jersey would need cream numbers with a brown outline. That would fix the visibility problem. And all sets should have socks that match the sleeve stripes. These are fantastic otherwise!!!
  6. The more I look at the Titans new helmet, the more I like it. The silver and white stripe is pretty sharp (no pun intended). But the uniforms are hot garbage. The shoulder yoke of silver and grey isn’t terrible on the home, but it’s awful on the road. And the other elements are pretty much trash. The pants stripes are a joke...
  7. I’m more than prepared to lose every game that might matter at any point. Plus sports aren’t as big a part of my life as when I first got into them. Which is probably a good thing
  8. It sounds like an insult that you would call someone who I don't know, canoes all the time? It also sounds like some kinda local brewery beer name. "Try our newest IPA, Paddlehead!"
  9. I’ve had a few as a Minnesota sports fan... 3. 2017 NHL playoffs, Central Division first round The Wild took on the St. Louis Blues in the first round after the Wild’s best season in a while. Well unfortunately Jake Allen stole the show, and the Wild couldn’t buy a goal, and lost in 5 games. I was very upset after that series, especially at Jake Allen. Who of course played terrible in the next round... 2. 2015 Wild Card Game The Vikings once again let me down... All Blair Walsh has to do was nail a 20 yard kick. Oops. I also had to cover a shift at McDonald’s that day, and my manager made me miss the kick to help one customer. As I ran back to the front, she told me “He missed”. I freaked out and ran to the front to watch the TV that had the game on, I got to enjoy the replays. He probably still would have missed if I had watched the kick live, but ya never know. 1. 2009 NFC Championship game The Vikings lost in overtime to the Saints on a field goal, and I swear that they changed the rules because of that game. 10 year-old-me had just got into football that year, and instantly became a true Vikings fan when they lost. That’s the only sporting event I’ve cried over...
  10. Oh a narwhal will be the logo and mascot for sure... But just maybe called Sea Unicorns so the demographic can expand to all kids under the age of 6...
  11. Holy cow that’s a lotta inverted serifs... Who thought that was a good idea? Also the “S” in the sports pass has a different serif than the “S” in the football word mark that’s a big oof
  12. Yeah this dark slate blue and navy makes it look like someone was just a little sweaty that day. The contrast was not enough. I’m very glad they scrapped it, but kept the navy and lime green...
  13. This is literally the Minnesota Wild’s 5th anniversary logo but in their colors...
  14. Growing up in Minnesota, I didn’t realize until last year how uptight Minnesota is, and how relaxed everyone else is. I work at a grocery store in South Carolina right now, and there are alcohol displays EVERYWHERE in the store. (It’s honestly a little too much, but...)
  15. Could you elaborate further?
  16. Congrats bro... What you’re saying is that the 4 teams that play in the conference final should all get division champs banners. I’m saying that can’t always work, because of the wildcard system. A team might be playing in the opposite division the way the chips fall. That’s why the Avs were playing against teams like the Flames and Sharks. And since they won in the first round, if they had then won the second against the Sharks, they would be the Pacific division champs, despite playing in the Central, which would be ridiculous...
  17. Because the way the NHL is set up, you won’t always get a divisional matchup, and that means that theoretically, there can be two teams from the same division playing in the conference final. So with what you want, we could end up with a team like the Avalanche (Had they won game 7) being the Pacific champs...
  18. 10 outta 10 I’d buy a hat with that logo for the Lumberjacks. The jerseys could be tweaked tho. I think a proper white jersey, even if it has cream on it would look much better. I’m also not the biggest fan of the shoulder yoke, I think a more traditional stripe would look better, but it does work.
  19. Minnesota might work better with a name like Lumberjacks or Eskimos than Minneapolis. (Although, names like Ojibwa or Lakota would be more appropriate). But Hornets does work...
  20. I think the “M” cap logo was awful. Even if it did go with the mediocre word mark. The “TC” logo is much better logo, and still works for the Twins. If they had gone with a “MN” logo that could have been better...
  21. The patch was changed to match the logo on the front, keeping it consistent with the puck. The change was actually a great update. The road jersey does have a LOT of problems however. The numbers along with the fact that blue has disappeared besides the socks, logo and collar. That’s definitely one of the little things that bother me. How inconsistent the colors are on the Avs sets. It’s always been that way
  22. The New York Islanders really bother me, because of their socks and pants inconsistency. I really love the jerseys pattern, but the socks, especially on the home, don’t quite fit the pattern. And on top of that, the breezers have a pattern that doesn’t match anything... I mean I get that the socks carry over from the first edge set, and the pants are from the dynasty, but it looks awful all together... The first navy set got it right
