Manchester United knocks off PSG at Stade de Prince. I actually expected a 2-0 win for PSG so I'm super happy with the result. That means a loss on the weekend judging by how this season is going.

Zenit 1-2 Club Brugge

Dynamo Kiev 0-2 Juventus

Chelsea 0-0 Sevilla

Rennes 1-1 FK Krasnodar

Lazio 3-1 Dortmund

Barcelona 5-1 Ferencvarosi

RB Leipzig 2-0 Istanbul Basaksehir

Paris St-Germain 1-2 Manchester United

Game has been suspended but UEFA is planning on resuming it with new refs

Apparently they already are placing PSG in the knockout rounds even though United has a superior goal difference. Why even play it? Had PSG lost they'd have a lower goal differential which is almost always the first decider. Was head to head a change this year? Even then United split with both sides.

Head to head has been the Champions League's first tiebreaker of choice for a while now, and (this bit may well be new) the current second tiebreaker is goal differential solely in head to head games, not more generally - so United are done regardless of the PSG outcome.

As to why they're restarting it, if PSG win then they overtake Leipzig and win the group, which then impacts knockout round seedings.

Liverpool: Scores 7 goals

Manchester United: . . . Hold my beer.

Where has this team been all year?!?!?!? Score is 6-2 at the moment but United just came charging out the gates after forgetting they had a game for the first 20 minutes on Thursday.

The FA cup up to it's old tricks again, Leeds beaten 3-0 at 4th tier Crawley

Derby lost 2-0 to Chortley, but the Rams were forced to use their U23 and U18 players. Liverpool were held 1-1 at the half to Aston Villa's U23's before winning 4-1.

Chelsea win 4-1 in the FA Cup, then sack Lampard. Chelsea is currently 9th in the Premier League, face Athletico Madrid in Champions League and are still in the FA Cup vs Barnsley. Tuchel is probably coming in, but is he any better than Lampard?

OH! And United beat Liverpool 3-2 in the FA Cup! After a 0-0 draw that felt like a loss, a 3-2 win feels pretty good. Especially since both teams didn't just run the kids out there, even though the sides were changed up a bit.

Tuchel should be an immediate upgrade, as Frank really isn't a big team coach yet and Chelski isn't the club to learn on the go.  Of course, Tuchel is also volatile and I'm gonna assume that they are gonna be looking for a new manager 2 years from now when he inevitably burns bridges with management.  Then again, that's pretty much par for the club.

It was a mistake to hire Lamps with one year experience at a little club in the first place, but hopefully he gained some good experience from this to find success elsewhere.  He still can be a good coach, he just needs an environment that affords more patience for his growth to happen.
