heavybass
Oh yeah, the final team for the East Division and fitting I would put up one of the top teams as well... PHILADELPHIA STARS The Philly Stars known for one of the best uniform combos in the league... Gold, White and Orange. Literally whoever thought this was an idea should be given a medal... traditional uniforms with an unusual flair for the dramatics... originally them and the Birmingham Stallions had the same style but one day they decided to replace red with orange and it works out so well. And with that, the Eastern Division is complete. How each division works: 1 Team is paired up with 5 others, said group plays each other twice for 10 games... 4 more games are then decided in neutral venues against one side that isn't in the rotation, an opponent in the Central, an opponent in the South and an opponent in the West... this is done in a 3 yearly rate
heavybass
The First team in the Central Division... a section that goes from East to West, a very large by mileage division... we're gonna go from East first because I had spoiled them in an earlier post thanks to the Federals relocating to Boston and the Baltimore compensation. PITTSBURGH MAULERS The only Pittsburgh team not to succomb to the cancerous mantra of Black and Gold... Maulers existed for one year, was a breath of fresh air to the design and is going to be coming back. The Team's Purple, Orange, White and Grey makes it a good reason to exist... they are legit pissed off at Baltimore for taking away their rivalry with the Stars but they are thankful to the Bombers because it allowed them to invest in their other rivalry games in the Michigan Panthers and the Chicago Blitz.
heavybass
Team #16... moving west from Pittsburgh into the state of Ohio and residing from Columbia... OHIO GLORY The Glory is the first entrant from the WLAF... the precursor to the NFL Europa where this team only lasted two years but that was because the WLAF was deemed a failure by the NFL... however it gave Columbus a taste of some football and with this team coming back, it helps that they are not bad but also not good. They're average considering the Glory consists of Blue, White and Red.... luckily we don't need to go into much, sometimes an early 90's look is considered Retro enough to survive in the modern day. Their big rivals is the infamous Knights that used to reside in New York/New Jersey moving to an unexpected place.
heavybass
The next two team in the Central Division used to come from the South... both were AAF teams that resided in Memphis and Birmingham however that league was dissolved without financial impact, Memphis was horribly treated by FedEX and after the scandal of the Gruden emails in the NFL, FedEx lost all options of corporate sponsorship of teams because it was proven that they alongside Nike were found guilty in politically taking advantage of the Washington naming saga. So the Express was sold cheaply and they were forced to relocated.... to Louisville, Kentucky. LOUISVILLE EXPRESS The Express aka the worst team of the AAF and the embodiment of a failed league... returns with an out-there look in a Central League that spans from East to West... they aren't one of the top sides of the Central, again they have decent owners and they adoped Louisville Red as their official colour in response to the move north. The other team was an exciting side that took advantage of Birmingham, Alabama... in fact they were poised to play in the Southern Division but the popularity of the Birmingham Stallions overshadowed their plans... so Jim Irsay owner of the Colts came to the UAXF and decided to buy the Iron and move them to Indianapolis, Indiana. The public owner of the new Iron... is one Pat Mcafee. INDIANA IRON One of the best looks in the AAF returns with a more steel looking set, adapting Iron Black, Silver and Gray to the lineup... there are clever new age ways of telling the team apart, for instance the helmet stripe is spelled out in the shape of an I whilst the look of the side is Raiders, the number font is Colts and the determination of the team is forged in Yinzer blood and tears. The Iron are one of the top sides of the division to no one's shock... one of the league's best rivalries is Pittsburgh vs Indiana.
heavybass
**EDIT** I had a look at the away for the Iron and realised that white wasn't going to cut it... so i made the road silver.

That road uni is so much cleaner with the silver. Excellent change.
heavybass
It was one of those, I looked at the white and then looked at the silver and realised the silver was better.
heavybass
Team #19 and THE most unique uniform combination of the USFL... from Michigan, the occupiers of the Champagne and Wine set. MICHIGAN PANTHERS The Panthers are one of the powerhouses of not just the Central division but one of the top sides of the UAXF itself... pure hard Michigan football in a very fancible set.
heavybass
Moving upwards to the Lakes now and to team #20... everyone else on this board seems to take them away and relocate them elsewhere, @WideRight sent them to Baltimore.... I don't share that mentality. CHICAGO BLITZ The Blitz decided to ditch the Silver from their set and add the light blue that the flag of Chicago uses... with them using Patriots looks, I decided to mold the side into Patriots, simple rule I've always come up is that if you dress up as Patriots then you must be fully commited... combined the shoulders from 83 and the helmet and pant stripe from 84. Light Blue, Royal Blue, White and Red does help make the Blitz stand out.... especially since they don't play in snowy conditions.
heavybass
Team #21 and probably the laziest relocation in the UAXF... WISCONSIN KNIGHTS Only a couple of cosmetic changes and changing the silver to a silverish green is not what we call major but for the once former NY/NJ Knights of the WLAF... shunted to Madison, Wisconsin to play in Badger stadium is not the bestest of plans.
heavybass
Be honest, I wasn't expecting likes for what I called a basic design... next up is something that took me a few days to get correct in planning because this isn't any ordinary team, this is a team that is steeped in Iowa legends... a team rebuilt from one man that is a pro footballing hall of fame. His Name is Kurt Warner and once more... DES MOINES TAKES FLIGHT IOWA BARNSTORMERS Alright before ANYONE gets on my case for including the Barnstormers... 1, The team originally died in 2008 thus they are eligible. 2, Kurt Warner runs the team, the Iowa Barnstormers are also the kings of pre 20,000 attendances. 3, The two incarnations of the team exist at once. With that being said in mind, this was a pain in the :censored:ing ass to do correctly.
heavybass
Moving down to St Louis now for one of the kings of the resurrected XFL...ST LOUIS BATTLEHAWKS The Battlehawks fight for daily supremacy regardless if it's against the NFL's Stallions or other teams in the Central... a well organised war bird knows his battles... close rivals are Michigan, Chicago, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Memphis... basically the entire central division are enemies to the Battlehawks. KA-KAW!
heavybass
Going to get team #24 out of the way now... and ultimately this team was wanted by no one and was essentially forced to become another city's castoffs. Which one? Kansas. KANSAS CITY RENEGADES Ladies and Gentlemen... the laziest design ever, Kansas City Chiefs without the red helmets... this is what you get for a team owned by Patrick Mahomes. Bomba Tomba
How would the battlehawks look with gray numbers on the home? And then maybe copy the sword stripe thing on the helmets and put it on the pants. For the Renegades, I'm sure you can do more than just be lazy. Change it up more than just a different helmet. Yellow home numbers and away jersey maybe? Quote If you read on the card you'll be cheating on your heart.
