MJWalker45
With today being the day the 2020-2021 EPL Season would have started originally, I figure it's a good time to start the new thread. Speaking of which, Manchester United will wear their new black uniform tomorrow vs Sevilla, even though wearing their primary kit didn't technically clash with Sevilla's
GDAWG
So has the transfer window been moved back due to the late resumption of the Euro leagues?

The window is open until October this year but players can be added now, however they can't be used in Champions/Europa League because they are this past season's competition. Manchester United and Manchester City will also be allowed 30 days from the last game of the 19/20 season that they play to start playing the 20-21 EPL season. The EPL has also decided to keep future windows open until September 1st, putting them back in line with the rest of the world.

Unless of course, I assume, that they are being used in the qualifying rounds of the 2020-2021 Champions/Europa League. Started to watch League of Ireland soccer. Really good, fast league that's fun to watch. Is it to the level of the top five? Nope, and not going to pretend it is. But it's some of the most fun soccer I've watched. Shamrock Rovers, the team I've adopted, play at noon. The LOI have a streaming pack for the Premier Division that's pretty well done and accessible (79 USD for the year). MJWalker45
Yes, they can play in 20-21 qualifying matches. England could be completely out of Europe if Manchester United lose today. I'd expect them to roll out their best team though, even though they're already in Champions League.
AnPheitseog
Should likely be renamed to the international club football, but hey. This is going to be a bloodbath. Anything can happen in a single match and at Tallaght, but low hopes. Quote Formerly known as DiePerske

End result: AC Milan in qualfying. 2 Quote Formerly known as DiePerske

WJMorris3
PSG is down seven of their players on account of the Coronavirus and they get to play OM tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if they end the weekend in COVID-19th.
WJMorris3
I don't know what's the bigger story - OM beating PSG 1-0 today or the fact that the game ended 9v8.

AnPheitseog
Currently the 38' and Shamrock Rovers only losing 0-1 to AC Milan? I'll take it. 1 Quote Formerly known as DiePerske
Seadragon76
AC Milan won 2-0 on the road. There were some other big names in this stage: Rangers (Scotland) rolled over Lincoln Red Imps while Tottenham Hotspur barely got past Lokomotiv Plovdiv. All these teams play again next week for the 3rd qualifying round: Milan hosts Norway based club Bodo/Glmit; Tottenham Hotspur plays at North Macedonian squad Shkendija and Rangers plays at Dutch club Willem II. There are some other big names in this competition as well: Galatsaray, Aberdeen, APOEL, PSV Eindhoven to name a few.

MJWalker45
Manchester United struggle to win 3-2 due to a penalty called after the final whistle and people now know that a penalty that occurred during play can be taken after the final whistle blows. As expected, there are people are saying that the correct call being made shouldn't occur because the final whistle was blown. https://twitter.com/SnapGoal/status/1309847718442000394?s=
