Why Does Everyone?

Personally, I think ppl hate Philly cuz in the last 4 years they have blown more championships than Phoenix, Cleveland, and Cincinnati ever have combined.

St. Joe's, Smarty Jones, Eagles 3 times, Sixers against the lakers, The Flyers every year, and how 'bout them Phillies? I'd  keep going but my fav QB is Manning (couldn't beat Spurrier) and I live close to Wahington D.C. and that DC stands for don't choke. That being said...Go Colts!

Smarty Jones does not count. ITS A HORSE!

Please give a description of choke. Do you count any playoff loss?

O and the Phillies arent good enough to choke.

I consider it to be a choke when you're the favored team -- have just about every advantage in the world. Are playing at home against a team that has NEVER won a game under a certain temperature, and to your complete advantage, you happen to be playing that team below that temperature... and you STILL manage to lose the game.

That is a choke. Is it not?

And I would hate to break it to you, Donovan McNabb is not the best QB in the NFC. Remember, when Jeff Garcia had T.O. to throw to, he was a pro bowler -- so that goes to show you what Terrell Owens can do for a QB. Without T.O. -- McNabb has never had a QB rating over 86.0 -- 14 QB's who got extensive playing time this year had better than that.

So every QB that has a great WR isnt that good? Manning isnt that good. Culpepper isnt. You already said McNabb isnt. McNabb IS the best qb in the NFC. He is better than last yr. Owens helped but he is still a better player than last year. And did I ever say the TB game wasnt a choke? And the Bucs did beat a cold weather team on the road before that. It was the Bears, but they still did.

No... I did not say that every QB that has a good WR isn't that good. But thank you for putting words in my mouth, anyway. How is McNabb better than he was last year? The only judgements you're basing this on is after him getting the leagues best WR.

But to all of a sudden jump and say he's the best QB in the NFC just because his stats jump BECAUSE of Terrell Owens is a little outrageous -- even for an Eagles fan. Look at a guy in GB -- Brett Favre has had to do it at times without any real WR's that would be a #1 guy on any other team. That, my friend, is somebody who is better than Donovan McNabb in the NFC.

And why did you bring up the Eagles beating the Bears at one point in time? That was completely random and off-subject.

I dont get it. It seems like all the fans of other teams hate us, the National media hates us, and never gives us any respect. Why do people hate us? Do YOU personally hate the Eagles?

i used to frickin loathe the eagles. but then......27-10. so they aint so bad anymore. :D

Personally I think the Best QB in the NFC is a toss up between Dr. Johnathan Quinn, Craig Krenzel, Chad Hutchensen, and Jeff George. Call me a homer all you want, but if they just had some recievers to throw to...

:therock: When did I say something about the Eagles beating the Bears??

O and if you didnt know Javon Walker is a Pro Bowl WR. Favre would be the best if he didnt throw so many stupid INTs. He throws them up like punts now. Im suprised that last yr Dawkins didnt call a fair catch last yr. :D

Maybe Favre was better in 99', but this is 2005 now. I'll take a guy with 31 TDs, 8 INTs over a guy with 30 TDs, 17!!! INTs. Just accept that Favre isnt what he used to be.

In a playoff game I'll take Farve any day over McNabb.

Who would I sign to a team right now? McNabb over Farve, but only because of age.

But in a must win game, Farve without question...even if I could pick anyone in the HISTORY of the game.

Favre has had a hall of fame carrer, no doubt, but if i had to pick any QB of all time in a must win situation, Id probaly take Elway or Montana. I just wish everyone would stop praising Favre like hes the holy grail of NFL QBs. Ill even say that McNabb is not the best QB right now, neither is Peyton. Its Rothliesberger, hands down at this present momnet.

Never mind the Bears comment, I misread.

Favre is no worse now than he was when Donald Driver, an, at the time, no-name WR, was his top guy. I believe that was in one of Javon Walker's first seasons. That was the time I was referring to when i said he did it with no big name WR's.

Oh, by the way...

Brett Favre threw 23 INT's in the 1999 season.

Brett Favre has thrown only 17 this year.

Care to research first, next time?

Favre of 98' definitely. Favre of 05' throws way too many INTs.

Yes, it's called a mistake. Thus why I said, "nevermind, I had made a mistake"

I was wrong once, and it was because of an accident. You have consistently been wrong, and it's because of your loyalty to the Eagles.

I know you have a brain somewhere, use it accordingly.

You're not wrong for being an Eagles fan, you're wrong for saying things such as "The Eagles are the favorites" and "Donovan McNabb is the best QB in the NFC".

No, you are wrong for giving them a bad name. If this was a bar, I woudlnt wear my McNabb jersey in here for a while, cause you have made Eagles fans seem like blind jerks.

If im right and the Eagles do go to the SB, what will you do? Will you finally give them the respect they deserve or just say they got "lucky" like most people will?

No, I will congratulate them on winning the easiest Conference in NFL history.

And then proceed to tell tales of how badly they will lose the Super Bowl.

Let me ask you something. If the Packers pull a miracle and make the SB, do you think they will get blown out?
