tohasbo Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 BTW,Maryland Terrapins 1856-PresentGeorgetown Hoyas 1789-PresentSince I am fans of both of these teams, Maryland and G-town for basketball and the Terps for football, I really known about when the schools started. However, I have no logos for these two.
Broken Record Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 If you don't have it already, the University of Tennessee was established in 1794. The first football game was in 1891.
gordie_delini Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 chris, i hate to tell you this, but the University of Oregon logos you've got on there are NOT the primary logos used by the school. Nike's "O" logo and script are the primary marks, with the interlocking "UO" as a secondary mark. I have both the new "O" logo and script, and i can send them to you. As a student at Oregon, I'd personally like to see this oversight taken care of. PM me if you'd like those logos I know, that's why they say they were used up until 2000. my apologies, chris, i overlooked that they were through 2000. i still have the current ones, if you'd like them.

artvandelay Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Baylor discontinued use of that bear mark last year. "...and you want to be my latex salesman."
dfwabel Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 CC, The purple, overhead frog on the TCU list is not an athletic logo. It is the logo which is used for the academic and administrative arms of the school.
