Watching the ASG last night, they brought up a rumored trade between the Lakers and the Kings, where LA would send Lamar Odom to Sacramento for Peja Stojakovic and Bobby Jackson. Any others floating around?

I know there's been some surrounding Carlos Boozer but one thing you have to realize is that all of this stuff is just rumors! There's not sense in getting caught up in them. If a trade happens then it happens, if it doesn't then who really cares? Rumors and just rumors.

According to RealGm.com --

The Lakers were busy during the break.

Another rumored trade is Carlos Boozer to LA for Caron Butler, Vlade Divac, and Devean George

That would be a great one for the Lakers, since 2 of the players they'll be shipping are injured.

But David Aldridge has reported that there is validity to these rumors. The contracts all line up in the two trades involving the Lakers.

This would make the Lakers a threat in the playoffs. as their starting five would be Chucky Atkins, Kobe, Peja, Boozer, and Chris Mihm.

It'll hurt seeing a UConn boy playing in Utah -- but I can live with that.

Too bad it's not going to happen though! :D

"We haven't been shopping Carlos around at all," Jazz owner Larry H. Miller told KSL-TV, Ch. 5's Rod Zundel. "In fact, I have to tell you right now, as honestly as I can, that I have a hard time imagining circumstances that would have us trading Carlos."

Isn't that something like Carlos Boozer saying he was going to resign with Cleveland? Or whatever happened there.

He's probably just saying that so in case the trade doesn't go through, Carlos doesn't want out.

The Jazz owner has also been quoted as saying "Some Nights He's Acted Like He Didn't Care Much" about Boozer.

I hear the Knicks are trying to trade Allan Houston, Penny Hardaway, and Tim Thomas to the sun.

Not the Phoenix Suns. THE sun.

Oh wait, that was just a dream I had. Damn.

Hey, look on the brightside... they only had two players on Page 2's NBA's top ten most overpaid player's list.

Cancel that -- they had three.

You're mistaking O'Connor for Boozer.

He's probably just saying that so in case the trade doesn't go through, Carlos doesn't want out.

Who really knows. Carlos has showed that he's a "baby" in the past so maybe his feelings would be damaged if he knew the Jazz were really looking to shop him.

The Jazz owner has also been quoted as saying "Some Nights He's Acted Like He Didn't Care Much" about Boozer.
On Sunday, however, O'Connor repeated his stance that the Jazz have no plans to move Boozer ? and suggested Miller is more confident in the 23-year-old Duke University product after a recent face-to-face meeting with him.

"Larry did sit down with Carlos, and they had a pretty good conversation," O'Connor said. "A very good conversation.

maybee there is some validity to the rumors but the kings wouldnt be stupid enough to trade one of the best long range shooters to any in division rival, but especially not the lakers. i know Peja hasnt been his best lately but thgat trade is still way too dangerous to even consider

Didn't Peja want out of Sacramento at the start of the season? And if so, does he still?

He wanted out after Vlade jumped for the Lake Show. Yet, if he's traded to LA, and Vlade goes to Utah, would he want out of LA as soon as he arrives?
