boardname
Not bad. They look pretty much identical to the normal home unis, except there's no number on the front.I dig the B hat, but it's funny (though expected and understandable) that the helmets say LA. The_Admiral
Should've stuck a decal on the helmets. Or at least a Post-It note. I would've used a Post-It note. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

The_Admiral
Wouldn't it be crazy if the Dodgers and Giants stayed in New York? No Mets, and no Mr. Met. That part scares me. We'd probably have the San Francisco Seals. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
STL FANATIC
I don't get it...I'm not a big fan of this whole wearing a jersey from a previous city thing. Maybe if they were in NY (like when the Orioles wore Browns unis in St. Louis a couple of years ago), but when they are playing in LA...hmmm...ummm....nah. I take it you also don't care for the Lakers wearing Minneapolis jerseys against the Suns or what have you? I don't like that either if only because it's yet another throwback and yet another powder blue and yet another shiny outfit and so on and so on and and ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
KennyRock
I would have LOVED to see them wear these when playing the Giants, with the Giants wearing road unis that said, "New York". If the teams could agree on a NY throwback night in San Fran or LA, THAT would be cool. Oh, and the Yanks should wear 1902 Baltimore Orioles jerseys when they visit Camden Yards - maybe THEN they'll beat the pitching ace that is... Bruce Chen. Puckguy14
While a Brooklyn vs. NY Giants would be cool... they wore the Brooklyn unis tonight to honor Jackie Robinson on Jackie Robinson Day. 8 years ago #42 was retired all over MLB. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions

timparry
First-time poster, long-time reader. This board is filled with sharp people, which is surprised you're all not crucifying the Dodgers (even though it was Jackie Robinson Day.They NEVER work the "Brooklyn" script at home. And if they had worn grey at home instead, it wouldn't have clashed with the Padres' sand-colored unis. E-6 for MLB and the Dodgers.I think Mars Blackmon wore this jersey in the late 80s though. VanZeppelin1984
it was werid that on the dodgers had the LA logo on their helmets. it just didnt go well w/ the brooklyn jersey Pictures of Baseball Games I have been to^CLICK IT^ very cool site
jkrdevil
it was werid that on the dodgers had the LA logo on their helmets. it just didnt go well w/ the brooklyn jersey That's because batting helmets weren't worn back then. Thus they wore their regular helmets. Even though batting helmets are the same as the cap if the team wears throwbacks from an era were they didn't wear helmets they use thier regular helmets. CZzyzx41
Aside from the fact that Lowe whupped my Padres and that the Doggers are hateful and deceitful, they looked pretty damn good tonight in their Brooklyn unis. Couldn't have said it better. Couldn't Lowe have waited one start to toss a 3-hit shutout?Sweet jerseys though. maybe now it'll be easier finding a Brooklyn Dodger hat. To explain, my wife and I are traveling around and trying to visit every ballpark over like 10-15 years and when we go we like to wear a hat or something for the home team. I don't mind LA but wearing a Los Angeles Dodger or San Francisco Giant hat would be blasphemous so I'm looking for Brooklyn and New York hats instead. -DanielCheck Out My Podcast!
