See Red
There's a reason he's coming back -- I seriously doubt he'll leave them high and dry, again. And even if he did, they still have Ronnie Brown. So if he did leave, the Dolphins would get some more money back and they'd have a solid RB in place, already.
jkrdevil
I too doubt he will do that again do to the fact he knows he will lose money. This might be a way to force Ronnie Brown to not holdout. Since he is coming back doesn't Ricky have to serve a 1 year suspension because he retired to avoid a positive drug test?

CaolinaJoe
This is PROFESSIONAL football not saturday morning beer league softball. The guys on the team will complain about the fact that he left, but everyone of them want him back. He makes them a better team, a team that can win. They may not go out for dinner after the game, but if he produces after the coin flip that is all they care about. I'm also willing to bet none of them will lose a paycheck, if he comes back, standing up for their own convictions. "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of thepress. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom ofspeech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given usthe freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes theflag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, andwho allows the protester to burn the flag."Marine Chaplain Dennis Edward O' Brien

Since he is coming back doesn't Ricky have to serve a 1 year suspension because he retired to avoid a positive drug test? Only a four-game suspension because he'd have been retired a year.If he had come back before that anniversary date, then, yes, a full-season suspension applies. NJTank
If I was playing defense on the Dolphins in the first practice I would make him wish he was still retird. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
