Stampman Posted November 21, 2005 Share Posted November 21, 2005 Thew hite ones make the most sense for this concept--the almost all blue ones would not show up well--and you may as well just have a blue shell.The idea is interesting (hey my TNFF team on these boards has antlers on its helmet)But may I suggest the outline either be made thicker or to leave it out. It would be barely discernible from the stands.Also--try curving th horn back a bit more so it goes closer to the back of the helmet--otherwise an interesting unorthodox idea... Actually, these would be a slight upgrade on UB's design, which is harder to see the first time you look at it. They tried to make the horns too 3-D and look like the tips of the horns are coming off the helmet at you if you see the helmet in profile. But the effect becomes wasted when you're not looking at the helmet in profile. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... I agree with leopard in that the horn needs to be higher up on the helmet, but other than that, it looks pretty decent. However, it does look a bit too much like the Vikings though....and actually I think the Texans helmets are one of the few I like in the NFL...nice big logo not cluttered...anyway...it is a great idea though!
