logodawg
I'm not liking them. It's the pant stripe, doesn't feel right to me. I think it's too big.

oddball
The pants stripes are odd, but for some reason to me they work. Maybe it's all those ugly Oregon, Nike, etc. uniforms. Could they be somehow trying to match the pant stripes with the shoulder stripes and duplicating them twice per side, that's the only thing I can come up with. SEMOSTLfan
I'm sick of those damn monocormats coming over here and taking our jobs. They're taking arrrrr jerrrrrrbbsss!!!! Back in the Pile!!As for the subject at hand, I hate those blue pants. They don't look too bad with the white jerseys but I hate the monochrome look for the Rams. Mike Martz refused to wear them but apparently according to Joe Vitt the players like to wear them. Which is odd because tonight is the first time they have worn them and not been embarrased.Could it be time for the Greg Williams era of Rams football in St. Louis? Braden
Could it be time for the Greg Williams era of Rams football in St. Louis? If it is, hope that it's longer than the Gregg Williams era of Bills football in Buffalo Oh, and BTW, the Rams all-navy look sucks.
STL FANATIC
The duplication of the stripes that oddball mentioned is all I can come up with.I think they look ugly though. I'm not a monochrome hater, but I'm an ugly hater, and they're ugly no matter which jersey they're worn with. It doesn't help that they have a beautiful option in the gold pants. As for the next era, who knows who that will be. I figured Gregg Williams wasn't any good, but he's done well with the 'Skins, and the Bills weren't that bad. He'd definatley be a help to the Rams defense.Oh well, here's hoping Martz gets accepts a lesser position as offensive coordinator and the Rams talk Dick Vermeil out of retirement. Oh, and of course they also trade Kurt Warner for Marc Bulger straight up, and Marshall Faulk's knees magically revert to those of 5 years ago.Stranger things have happened. Right? Oh. Darn. SEMOSTLfan
wow Justin you were thinking exactly what i really wanted to say but i figured I'd get burned for leading the bring back Dick Vermeil brigade. Martz is a great coordinator but his personality is just not condusive to being a head coach at the professional level.I don't know much about Gregg Williams but apprently he's at the top of the wish list according to sports talk radio here in St. Louis. tomhunter8
The reason they wore all blue was in honor/support of Jack Snow, their former longtime receiver and current color commentator who is in the hospital in critical condition with a staph infection and literally fighting for his life. The team asked the NFL if they could put his name on their unis somewhere and of course the league said no. They chose to go with the all blue unis instead.http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sports/st...+AND+%22snow%
GasHouse1934
The stripe is definitely too wide...the navy part in the middle of the stripe is what needs to be much narrower. And I've never understood why the blue pants are striped while the gold pants aren't.I'd like to see them wear gold jerseys. Would the NFL go for that? VitaminD
I'd like to see them wear gold jerseys. Would the NFL go for that? Whether the league would or wouldn't is irrelevant. What I could guarantee with gold jerseys, is:1. they'd look really tacky. (Have you checked out the Sacramento Kings' alts?)2. the jersey wouldn't match the gold on the pants or the helmet.3. we'd extend the perennial threads about the Cowboys' and Saints' failures to properly unify their metallic colors onto a 3rd team.Do we want that? I don't.
gosioux76
It might be just me, but the jersey and pants color on TV looked to conflict. The shirt seemed slightly lighter than the pants. It might have been a lighting issue, or my poor eyesight, but they looked mismatched.Oh, and that was post 1,000 for me. I'll make no speeches. Avenger
I don't mind this look once a year. Not near as good as the gold pants, but a barable change of pace IMO.I would change the pants stripe to one thickish gold stripe with a thinner whit stripe to one side of it... exactly like the shoulder stripe. SEMOSTLfan
Why is it a crime for the NFL to let the Rams put a patch on their jerseys or even a decal on their helmets for the poor guy. Tagliabue is a friggin' idiot. My thoughts and prayers are with Jack and his family. Rams broadcasts aren't the same without him.
