Also, it looks like he borrowed pants from a male gymnast.Lastly, Miller (middle) needs to fix his socks.Seriously, I'm never this anal but the ugly jerseys stood out and all the rest just made my eyes hurt even more! Miami's is actually silver, so it barely shows up. However, FSU's is garnet (doesn't appear on all uniforms, just the non-pinstriped uniforms that say Seminoles on the front). When they came to Howser last year I wanted to pour acid on my eyes. Sorta like FSU's new Padres-style gold instead of the old metallic gold. This vest isn't much better *ZING!!!*That said, I am saddened by this "update", and I really have no room to talk about Weak Forest's Metallic Madness. The Heels have made a series of drastic mistakes with their baseball uniforms over the past few years:1. white caps2. Brush Script wordmark - which they shrunk to accommodate the armpit thingies3. white lettering on gray jerseys4. vests5. NC monogram inside an oval that looks more like a football - on a baseball jerseyAnd now they've gone and added darts under the armpits ("sideburns" might have been the call of the year, BTW!!). Who ever sat at a ball game and thought to themselves, "God, you know what would really make this better to watch? A little somethin'-somethin' under the arms to catch my eye and be distracting." I'm hoping for these to be DQ'd on some arcane technicality, and they can start over.Then, the Heels' biggest baseball problem would be chronically failing to live up to preseason expectations and not reach Omaha...
