Shumway
With the whole Damon ordeal in Boston, I was trying to think fo other players who played for both the Red Sox and the Yankees. I could only think of 3.- J.T. Snow(I'm not sure he ever played for the Yankees, but they drafted him)- Roger Clemens- some guy named Babe RuthI'm sure there are plenty more, but I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head. Anyone else know of any?

slapshot
Tom GordonMike StanleyRamiro MendozaTony Clark (I think)the list could go on and on. With the way free agency is now, it's not uncommon at all. However, if you're talking about players who went right from the Yankees to the Red Sox and vice versa, that list would not be as long. rockchalk
Sure I cheated, but there's 202 players who've played for both teams. I used one of the coolest baseball tools on the internet, from baseball-reference.com that lets you choose between up to four teams (or franchises) and lists the players who've played for all of them.Multi-Franchise Database I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow
