HedleyLamarr
I guess I'll root for ex-Brave Jermaine Dye, though I've got a vibe that Berkman's gonna reach the final.Any idea on if they're changing the format? It seems like it changes from year to year. They should stick with:First round: 10 outs, top 4 advance.Second round: 10 outs, top 2 advance, hitters go in order of amount they hit in first round, from least to highest.Final round: 5 outs, lower total of second round goes first. Shumway
I'll be rooting for former Angel Troy Glaus, but I kind of wanna see Howard take it home.

DrBear
One question - they're talking about the pitchers, but who is catching? I looked on ESPN, MLB.com and the Post-Gazette and nobody says who the catcher is/are.

VitaminD
Gotta go with Ortiz, since the pitcher he's using fed 41 gopher balls to Bobby Abreu in last year's contest. He's the Red Sox bullpen coach (name escapes me at this time). You sure about that? Last year, Abreu hit off of Phillies bullpen coach Ramon Henderson. He's still working for the Phillies. Whether Ortiz uses him or not, I don't know - but he doesn't work for the Red Sox. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

Throw a better gopher ball, and MLB will beat a path to your door. That said, he's still not the Red Sox coach. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... FiddySicks
Two questions.1) what happened to the stupid "world" format for the HR Derby?2) why didnt Pujols swing?I went in 2004. Home Run Derbys are a blast. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)
