capn89
It's interesting trying to design a jersey that uses the primary colors. My first few Panthers jerseys, I can admit, were pieces of garbage. It's acceptable, though, considering Florida was the first non-Flyers team I tried changing.Anyway, I had this concept sitting around which was only ever meant to be a stand alone red jersey (most likely a third) but I decided to try my hand at a white away and call them a couple. They're getting married in a few weeks. Here they are:

"Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. winghaz
I like it, but to me, the thing that's great about the Florida Panthers' uniforms is you have that Panther jumping out at you. What you did is good, but it loses a great element.

Stampman
I'd make the striping patterns match on the home & away--they each have their own--a little variation on one stripe can work okay---this is too different.but other than that & having just a panther head logo--it's good, and the use of colour works--not too busy or distracting. ColeJ
too traditional for a team like the panthers... imo...and the head would look nice at center ice, but as a primary crest, its a downgrade.
LMU
Just using the panther head is a great improvement, but the striping looks like something meant for an original six team as opposed for a team in south Florida.

I did actually try to matche the red jersey's striping on the white, but because of the ideology I was using (certain colors cannot touch or else it looks pukey) I simply took the first (yellow) stripe from the red jersey and split it in half. On both jerseys YELLOW always touches RED & WHITE and nothing else, while BLUE is always surrounded by WHITE. I'll throw together a quick mock of how terrible (I think) a white jersey with the same striping would look. Thanks for the idea, though.

cleckie
Love the logo lukewarm about the jerseys. I would have to agree about the stripe on the pants tho.
33hooligan
Imo it looks more traditional, which is good even for florida. But I have too agree that the stripe on the jersey's need alittle more thought. Is this a templete that you are useing , if so is there a copy of it anywhere? Also, I think if you put the side view of the pants aside from a front veiw, it would be less confusing.Nice work. It's slightly modified from his version. As for the other stuff they're temps I've found at various places or created myself. The layout is them just meshed all together to sort of give the idea of a complete uniform.I agree about the view of the pants (probably the helmet too). I'll have to see what I can do so it's not so confusing. Thanks for the comments As for everyone else, I also appreciate the comments, both positive and negative.
