mctitan53 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I have been working on this for 2 or 3 days now, and I just finished it up. I took the Titans T logo and the flames from the T-Shield. Tell me what you think, C+C welcome.
mike2sana Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 with a little bit more cleaning up that could be a pretty good concept ATL
kewp80 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I must say that that is pretty sweet Cardinals -- Rams -- Blues -- Tigers -- Liverpool Check out my music!
mctitan53 Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 Okay, I smoothed out the T and the stars, and made them stand out more. How does this look:
josh_cat_eyes Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 That is really cool. I Like it. Good job!!
slapshot Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Doesn't work. There's a lot going on, it should be simplified more. Does it need the T, flames AND stars in the same area? The stars look like they're just there to fill the space. You have inconsistent outline widths between the T itself and the rest of the stars and flames.Good sports logos don't use Photoshop effects like blurs and glows. BrianVlietDesign Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Not bad, I like it. But, IMO the stars should be white with a red outline. NYCFC - MLS CUP CHAMPIONS - 2021
mctitan53 Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 Here it is without the blur effects, and with the stars and T outline being cleaner:Here it is with white stars outlined in Red:
fonz Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I don't like how the dark blue touches the T
Cooleyvol Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 The three stars represent the three regions of Tennessee and are always shown as on the state flag.
Bleujayone Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I'd put the flames on top of the "T" . That way the "T" looks like the handle of a torch carrying the fire of Olympus. We all have our little faults. Mine's in California.
mctitan53 Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 I'd put the flames on top of the "T" . That way the "T" looks like the handle of a torch carrying the fire of Olympus. As in this???:
LEWJ Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I'd put the flames on top of the "T" . That way the "T" looks like the handle of a torch carrying the fire of Olympus. As in this???: haha, here's the one i did..... |Â BROWNS | BUCKEYES | CAVALIERS | INDIANSÂ | Â
mctitan53 Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 I'd put the flames on top of the "T" . That way the "T" looks like the handle of a torch carrying the fire of Olympus. As in this???:haha, here's the one i did..... Wow, those are EXTREMELY similar! I like yours better than mine. The way you made the T stand out makes it look A LOT more like a handle... Good Job!
Bleujayone Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Not bad. I like the shadowing on LEWJ's handle better but i also like the flame base on yours better. I was also going to suggest putting the circle with the stars from the Tenn state flag on the "handle" of the torch. But so far so good. We all have our little faults. Mine's in California.
averyj Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I did this really quickly: You know, I rarely visit ccslsc anymore. I really should fix that.
Alphabet Man Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 that's getting there, maybe thicken the navy outline on the T, to make the outline consistant twitter.com/thebrainofMatt
mctitan53 Posted September 27, 2006 Author Posted September 27, 2006 Ok. I added the stars, and made the Outline on the T stronger. Tell me what ya'll think now:
DDR Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I get that why the stars are there, but I just don't like them. They clutter up such a distinct alt. logo. ditch the stars, clean up the lines on the T (they're just a tad bit jagged) and you have a winner.
