rmackman
This Sunday I'm going to the Green Bay Packers @ Miami Dolphins game. As most of you know, I'm a fan of both teams. They rarely play each other, so normally this isn't an issue. However, on Sunday I plan to wear a Dolphins shirt with a Packers hat or vice versa depending on what looks the best. Is this acceptable, or do I need to pick one team? "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports
Pat
Seems unacceptable to me, especially if you're physically going to the game. I cant see this sitting well with diehard Phins fans. If I were you Id wear Dolphins gear, and just secretley hope for a tie:) Proud owner of the Utah Pioneers of the Continnental Baseball League.PACKER BACKER FOREVER! Lee.
Completely unacceptable, especially in the same league. There are extreme times when you may be able to get away with wearing different logos with teams from different sports, but these are extremely rare cases, and in most instances, you will come off as a tool.Pick one and be done with it. DrBear
I think the only way you can get away with it is to have family members on each team (see Laura Quinn/Brady Quinn/AJ Hawk)

dfwabel
Unless you are a spouse or parent, you should never wear multiple team logos. Sadly, neither team is very good this season. It is at Miami, so wear aqua.
DGivens87
You could bring two jerseys: Packers jersey for the first half, Fins jersey for the second half. I used to do something similar for Pats games: offensive player (Brady, usually) for the first half, and defensive player (Seymour or Bruschi) for the second half. Then again, I'm just supersitious like that. A large cheese pizza, just for me.New England's source for soccer newsAnd hey, I made it to ESPN! hecticbro
I don't really believe in having two favorite teams in one sport, so I would say wear neither or pick one.And it's OK to wear a hat or something for your favorite baseball team with a jersey for your favorite football team, especially if it makes regional sense. leedsunited
Wear a cutesy little half-n-half jersey (a' la Laura Quinn) and get your head pummeled in by fans of both teams.

If you wear stuff for both teams that are playing right there in front of you, you're a major douchebag. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
oddball
You don't wear opposing team gear at the same time. Pick one or the other. I mean I use to be a Rams fan when they played in Anaheim and always rooted for them, except when they played Tampa. I've gone to many Angel games and rooted for the Halos, and yet when they played the Dodgers and I had tickets, there was no chance in HELL I'd root for the Angels! You have your team that you are a die hard for and then you can be a fan of another team, but when they play, you MUST be a man and make a choice. FiddySicks
Seriously, who fu*king cares? You DID pay for the ticket, so you should be able to do whatever the hell you want. If you wanna wear a Packers hat with a Phins jersey go right ahead. The universe wont slit into two and kill us all if you do. Its a frickin sport. Not a war. Do what is the most enjoyable for you. Not something I would ever do, but if you put up the money to go to the game, it's your call.On a side note, I wore an LA Kings t-shirt yesterday with an Atlanta Flames hat. Not quite the same, but not quite that different. facespace?http://www.myspace.com/seancalcottmusic http://www.myspace.com/forgottentoys

How hard is it to see that sport is a form of entertainment and not a severe life altering set of events? aunoonan
Of course it's your call, but you sought our opinions, so I think it's okay for us to dish out advice. I've always thought that you wear your team's jersey to support the team, not for your own self promotion. If you are wearing both teams, you are essentially saying that you want everyone around you to notice that you are in a conundrum and have loyalties to both teams, a fact that most people simply will not care about. If you want to be a part of one of team's fan bases for that day, pick one and go with it. Otherwise, don't wear either. I think the best use of "double teaming" is wearing an old, beat up MLB hat of a team that is closely identified with the other sport team or the city in general. Best examples:Yankee hat with a Giants, Rangers, or Knicks jerseyPirate hat with a Steelers jerseyTiger hat with Pistons, Red Wings, not Lions, they don't deserve itRed Sox hat with Pats jersey
winters in buffalo
With sports teams, you have to pick just one. Now, if you're talking women or pie... the more, the merrier.
