Delux247
According to my count, only 7 teams remain without an alternate jersey:-Pacers, available '07-'08 season-Grizzlies, available anytime-Bucks, available '08-'09 season-Knicks, available anytime-Magic, available anytime-Spurs, available anytime-Raptors, available anytime?Am I correct on all these? Does anyone know for sure if/when Houston is getting one? Is Philly really dropping their blue one for that crazy red one we saw posted?

McCall
I thought the Rockets were supposed to have a black one this season? Can't remember where I heard it, but was pretty sure it was for real. (And know it was just any speculation here that I simply thought was factual.) https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
NYCdog
IIRC Houstons' black alternate set was NOT approved for the second year in a row by the league because the set's predominant color is black....a trend the league is trying to discourage This isnt the first time Houston has had problems with jersey's gettin approved by the league. In 2003, the original plan for Houston's the new look (current uniforms) had their "Type R" logo being placed on the front/center of the jersey where the city/team identity is usually placed above the player's number, a la the U of Miami and Michigan collegiate Basketball uniforms of a few years ago. They would have been the first NBA team to do this, but the leauge denied it stating that casual fans wouldnt know who were the Rockets on the court because there jersey didnt clearly state the team's identity. The effect of this had the "R" being moved to the shorts and "Rockets" now appears on the front of there jersey....hence the long delay in debuting those uniforms, which were NBA-ready so late, they were unveiled at the team's 2003 media day before the start of the season, a full 4 months after the logo debuted. HowBoutThemFins
Toronto DOES have an alternate. They've had one for years. White, Red, Purple. The latter being the alt due to the change in their color scheme.
nyk
IIRC Houstons' black alternate set was NOT approved for the second year in a row by the league because the set's predominant color is black....a trend the league is trying to discourage. Why??? Whats wrong with black as an alternate color? Why is the NBA worried about fashion so much??? If they really worried about alternates, someone need to tell them to do something with Sacramento's alternates. I bet a Rockets alternate would be hot in black. Shroinke
Toronto DOES have an alternate. They've had one for years. White, Red, Purple. The latter being the alt due to the change in their color scheme. As noted in other posts, the Raptors changed uniform sets this year.Part of the adjusment was getting rid of the old purple uniforms. So no, they don't have an alternate uniform this season.
